Chapter 12: panic attack

Loaks pov :
Today reyas coming over to hang out well really watch tv eat snack and talk we do this every week
When I heard the doorbell ring I ran downstairs to open it for her I was so excited to see her but I'm all ways happy to see her she walked in and gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek
When went upstairs to my room then we did a couple TikTok's and then we decided to watch the new season of never have I ever and eat snacks.
———————— like 1 hour later ————

I told reya I'll be back I'm gonna get something to drink  and asked her if she wanted anything you want something she said yea I went down stairs and decided to get 2 calsplos  and head back up to my room but the I got stopped by my mom telling me to clean up the kitchen and then I can go back upstairs I said ok and started cleaning.

Tsireyas pov:
I wonder what was taking him so long oh well while I wait I guess I'll pause the tv and look for the rings I left over here last week

I got up started looking for them around his room I thought maybe they where in his nightstand drawer so decided to look but instead I found 3 empty pill bottles and one half empty I was curious on what they were for so decided to take a picture and search them up later as I was taking pictures I felt eyes on me. I turned around and seen loak with 2 calsplos in his hands and he had a worried look on his face. I quickly stood up and then loak started breathing really heavy and then he tryed to walk over to where I was standing but he couldn't make it it was to far so he just slide down the side of his bed and crawled into a ball and started crying I didn't know what to do so called for Ms.Sully

After a while she came running up the stairs and seen what was happening and told me to get the pill bottle out of his drawer and had it to here with one of his many water bottles on his nightstand.I gave the bottle and water and left.
I know it was wrong but I didn't know what to do and I got scared. Because what if it triggered mine When I got home I ran up to my room and started my breathing technique when I felt one of attacks coming after a while I checked my phone and seen 30 missed calls,112 messages, and 3 voicemails all from loak.

I thought about calling him back but I got scared what if he was mad because I left like a coward omg ( oh my grass)what if he hated me.

————————1 week later———————
School started back and tsireya had been avoiding loak all week at school and loak was hurt and he tried talking to her but it never worked she would freeze and run the other way and it mad loak feel like a freak and like he was losing his friends since neteyam was out and in therapy ao'noug was over everyday and if it wasn't him it was some guy named Lyle and loaks meds made him very anti-social so his social battery ran out really fast especially at school and he only sat by himself at lunch and during class.he tryed going to party's but he would get anxious and ever since he would stay home and let neteyam and kiri go.tsireya felt bad but she was still scared to talk to loak.

Tsireya pov:
It's been a week and I still haven't spoke to loak and I see him in class and during lunch and stuff
But I can't bring myself to go up to him. He would try and talk to me but I would freeze.
——————— 2 weeks later ———————
Ok todays the day. Going to talk to loak I'm really nervous and my hands are very very sweaty and my hands are shaking I take some deep breaths and then I seen him at his locker with his backpack and his air pods in I think he was looking for a book
I slowly walk up to him and tap his shoulder "hey"
He turned around and took out his air pods and started talking " oh hey,did you need something" "oh no just wanted to see if you wanted to walk to class together" he looked confused "uhh your actually serious" "yea,it's fine if not I understand" I started stuttering and then I turned to walk away but then I felt him grab my hand "yea I would like that very much tsireya" he said with a smile

"So why did you ignore me" loak said and I just looked down I couldn't...I was a quiet walk and the whole time I felt loak looking down at me until he stopped walking and when I turned around he was just looking at me with the most sensitive smile on his face "are you gonna answer" he chuckled he didn't look angry "I got scared,im sorry I had no right to go through your things without your consent and I did t mean to send you into a panic attack,I was just looking for my air pods"
"It's ok I know you didn't mean too I was just scared you didn't want to be my best friend anymore"he said and laughed I just smiled and run up and hugged him supper tight when I lifted my head he was staring right into my eyes.

Time started to stand still and it felt like I was we were the only ones there we just stood there like that until I finally kissed him. He cupped my face and we just kissed until the 30 second bell rang we pulled apart and just stared and then we realized

WERE 5 MINUTES LATE TO CLASS

We dashed through the hallways and ran alway to class when we finally got there he opened the door for me and when we went side everyone was staring at us and then Mr.Gomez scolded us for being late and then we finally went and took our seats in class.
