Sonic was sitting at the table with one of the human psychologist, the hedgehog was mostly kept separated from the others patients do to them being adults, and had unhealthy behaviors when it comes to women or children.
"What's that?...it smells yummy" Sonic asked pointing to the stack chocolate waffles, in front of him.
The Female glances over at Shadow, who was watching from afar after all Sonic was his patient, she only clears her throat, "Well it's a treat for you, for being rather cooperative with us"
Sonic's tail started wagging, "So...I've been a good boy?" He asked.
The female only nodded, Sonic wasn't really allowed to feed himself, mostly before of an accident that happened...instead of using the fork and knife on the food he used them to injure himself further. After all he was so used to getting abused before he was rescued that he rather enjoyed pain. So the female was feeding him not that she minded it was kind of what she signed up for.
"There you are" Amy called out to Shadow.
Shadow turned to face her, the pink hedgehog glanced over at Sonic, before looking back at her husband. "His Family had arrived in the city" she said as she looked away.
"He doesn't have any memory about them, only the events that lead him here in the first place" Shadow admits.
"I told them that...but, it's been six years since he's been kidnapped, and I can't possibly stop them" Amy said as she lets out a small sigh. "I'm telling you this cause you are his doctor...so it's up to you to forbid them from seeing their son, or for him to interact with them"
Shadow glances over at Sonic, he really couldn't imagine how the mother must've been feeling when she found out her son had been kidnapped, let alone forced into horrible acts that caused him to become a menace to himself cause of the trauma.
"I'll have to talk to them first, and explain the situation...before we do that one on one meeting" Shadow finally said.
Amy only nodded, "I'm sure one of the nurses will tell you went they have arrived...in the meantime I need to do a that yearly check up on him"
Shadow nodded as he moved out of the way for his wife to get past him.

Shadow was sitting at his desk, filling out a sheet of paper on Sonic's health...the fifteen year old was still unfit to be released out into the public. He was still endanger to himself.
A knock on his door turned his attention away from the computer to the male nurse.
"Mr. Hedgehog...the Prowers are here" The Nurse said.
"Let them in"
The nurse nodded as he stepped away to the family of three into the office.
