The bullying starts

III.

 The bell rings once again, making the students pack their things and then leave while Parker was left speechless and was just staring at his front locker for some reason. Either way, today is Friday! One of Parker's favorite days, because the next day will be the weekend. Yet he also hates it because today was P.E—which is one of his least favorite subjects. He began to quickly change inside the gym closet and then headed back to the courtyard.

"Well, this is going to be fun." He scrunches his nose entirely, looking at his classmates dead in the eyes.

 All of them were wearing PE uniforms; on the girls side, they were holding their phones, and one of them were having a talk about some other people's love lives and wants to create rumors for it just to ruin others relationships.

They were wearing shorts-shorts and a white t-shirt. I hate to say that Parker had actually wore shorts-shorts before until now. He'd always wear it, and it made him embarrassed to see these girls wear it, knowing that shorts-shorts are for girls! For girls!

On the other hand, boys had to also wear shorts that are kind of longer compared to shorts-shorts; they also had to wear white t-shirts. Exactly what he is wearing right now is making him sweat; the texture is oddly made out of cotton-type yarn. The heat was indeed trying to join the sweat. Making him 10 times more sweaty and dizzy—what a great way to start

A whistle calls. "Noccon, get back on track!''

 "S–sorry, coach!" He shouts back, heading to his supposed team. Full of boys, as a matter of fact. Before the game even started, he really wished that Jake or his friends, or particularly both, wouldn't show up for the basketball practice. But here we are! Seeing Jake doing warm-ups, his friends Falcon and Nolan were doing.. suspicious stuff on the benches, as expected, and Alex was talking to one of his pals. And pretty much that was it. Parker is still remain scared about what they are going to do to with him. Though, he also still wouldn't want to team with them..!

It's just that, they play unfairly! He sighs in regret and then walks to them, knowing what they are about to say.

 "Hey, it's the gay kid!" The guy who Parker seemingly doesn't recognize points at him, laughing at Parker's appearance, which made the noisy guy more irate about the situation than before. He completely ignores it and continues to walk over to his team.

 "He-hey, guys..!" Nervously waving at then, eyes winding, realizing that he's teamed up with Jake's full gang, shit—

"pfft—did he really just stutter?"   Nolan squints at the weird kid and then looks over at the guys, looking left and right. The rest of them just blinked at the confusion, then laughed at Parker's stuttering, making him weak. 

"Isn't he the gay kid you were talking about, dude?" Which made the other guys laugh harder.

"What are you going to do, Parker Noccon? Suck our dicks off for contribution to the team?" Parker cringe at the thought of that.

"I mean, you're just a homo; I bet you can't even shoot a hoop." Again, they laugh and wheeze at their negative comments about him. He didn't laugh, though; it wasn't funny.

Parker looked over at Jake while the others were laughing, and unexpectedly, he didn't laugh. Well, maybe some of the jokes, as he saw Jake laugh at the first joke but then stop. Weird.

 "Aren't gays like you supposed to do volleyball like those girls over there?" One guy says, okay, maybe he won't deny that statement. Parker actually does play volleyball during his free time. That made it more embarrassing.

 Parker was more irate and mixed with sadness because of his sexuality; of course he likes guys and all! But do they really just see him as a toy? He thinks to himself. Despite the hurtful and vulgar words towards him that pierced his heart, Parker kept his head high, trying to survive the homophobia. Almost on the verge of tears, Parker kept struggling to not cry while the boys talked about him and completely ignored the fact that he was still there.

A whistle once again sounded as it alarmed two teams to come to the coach. The game is starting.

 As the game progressed, the atmosphere grew increasingly intense. Their team displayed their swift offense, executing quick passes and syncing impressive jump shots, while the other team's defense held impressively. Blocking shots and stealing the ball into their hands. In the end, they won. But Parker didn't help at all. 

The coach silently observed the whole thing; he noticed that Parker was just doing absolutely shit. He may have stolen the ball and tossed it sometimes to his teammates, but he served nothing! Ate nothing and left crumbs!

The coach suddenly called him after the round and scolded him for being absolute bullshit to the team and only tossing and stealing the ball and nothing more.

"Look at him!.. He's so stupid."

"Is there anything he's good for?"

"He's such a freak!"

 After coming back from a scolding, obviously everyone heard it through the echoes of the courtyard. Taunting voices from everyone inside that basketball court.

 All of them laughing at him like he was the main clown at the circus. This was Parker's breaking point. He runs as fast as he could, but in reality, he was really just walking towards the changing room, holding back tears.

 As he finally reaches the changing room, he begins to uneasily cry, sobbing silently, and slams himself again into the locker. God, he was stupid and sensitive; is this what he deserves? The way Jake and his friends bully him almost every day because of his likes and dislikes. Even his sexuality have been teased by everybody that Parker meets, and he hates it.

 The way Jake glares at him, humiliates him, and bullies him He loved everything about that guy for no reason. He's aware that Jake has many red flags; however, that didn't stop Parker from liking him obsessively. He doesn't care how many red flag poles this man holds.

He may be a player, mean, smart, or dirty-minded, but he doesn't mind.

That made Jake more attractive to him personally. And that made him even look like a weird person.

Parker cries more.
