Chapter 10: Burned

At the Arrowcave

Barry was retraining himself and remembering the fight with the Dark Archer.

He started to climb the ladder with the bar.

He remembered more of the fight.

As he continued to climb the ladder with the bar.

Then he remembered being shot in the back twice with arrows.

Then he started to use poles side by side like monkey bars and used his stick to move across them.

then he remembered being kicked into a wood wall breaking it.

Then he did pull-ups.

Then he remembered being kicked multiple times.

Then he started to bounce a ball and threw it and missed the ball when he fired and it landed on the ground.

Diggled walked in and asked "How you doin'? Rehab going good?"

Tommy and Oliver walked in and Tommy says "I don't think it's going so good if he missed."

Barry takes a minute and asks "Any news on Walter?"

Diggle says "My contact at the bureau struck out. Same with my guy at Interpol. They're both saying the same thing."

Barry says "Either my stepfather doesn't wanna be found or someone doesn't want him to be found."

Tommy says "It's been six weeks, Barr. No contact from the kidnappers no ransom demand, no proof of life."

Diggle says "I hate to sound--"

Barry says "Dig. We both know he's more likely dead."

Oliver asks "What do you wanna do?"

Barry says "I don't know. Even my contacts in the Bratca can't dig up a lead."

Diggle says "He wasn't talking about Walter."

Diggle grabs the list and says "Back at fighting weight, looks like. Last I checked, there were more than a few names to cross off in this book."

Barry turns to them and says "Those people aren't going anywhere. With Walter missing, my family needs me right now."

Flashback

Yao Fei says "Call your people. Tell them to bring the plane."

Fyers says "My people will be here shortly. Do you not think it convenient you captured me so easily?"

Then the man in the mask walks from behind the tree."

Yao Fei yells "Go!"

Barry says "What?"

Yao Fei yells "Run!" and he puts up his hood.

Yao Fei runs at the masked man and begins to fight with him.

Barry had run away and he was being shot at.

And he almost trips, but gains his balance and keeps running.

and He kept running till he reached two trees and stopped to rest.

He turned his head and saw Yao Fei being hit in the head and knocked out and they carry him away.

Then the masked man looks in Barry's direction but doesn't see him and walks away.

End of Flashback

At the Queen Manor

Barry walked up to his mother's room and saw her looking at a photo of her and Walter.
