Bendy shot up from that voice. Waking up in the hospital as the white blinded him, taking a few minutes to blink and get adjusted to the brightness of the room he was greeted with when he suddenly awoke, his senses soon came back to him when he realized where he was, noises of the hospital were slowly coming into his ears, it was loud and overwhelming now that he has awoken, he was trying to adjust to his blurry vision and the weak feeling of bloodloss as he tried to remember what happened before It got to this moment, but soon realized what happened a few hours before this, he looked to his side to see his sleeping lover who still had blood on him, his blurry vision disappeared but it felt like it was still there, he stared at his unrecognizable lover with his orangeish red eyes wide. He stared at him for what felt like hours, cuphead soon woke up as bendy looked away quickly, he was surprised to see what he was awake this soon "Bendy?, your-your awake! They said you'd be out for a couple of da-" "shut up. I don't wanna talk to you not after what you did." "W-what?" "I SAID SHUT UP. can't believe your here." Cuphead stayed silent, he was shocked but understood why, so he sat back and stayed silent as asked, he felt terrible knowing he let himself go like that so this was the punishment he was going to take, bendy couldn't look at him at all, he didn't recognize him after earlier, the silence between the two stayed for a couple minutes, soon the doctor came in and it was a woman they were familiar with "dovil! Hey it's nice to see you again!" "Hey there Mr bendy, it's been a while but your free to go in a few hours, just need to get your blood and iron back up, including some tests to see if your good to go or go with medication, but either way I think its best if you go with the medication to help with the pain and moving around" she smiled softly, the same happy girl she was the first time they had met, she started writing down on how the pain was and if he could move around, she was surprised he lived, and moved around well after being shot right through his chest, it's not something they'd seen or even had before, she checked his pain spots and made sure he was moving around just fine, talking about some exercises he could do so he could move much better after so he could run, and jump which is the only thing he can't do, changing the bandages on the bruises and cuts he got from the broken vase, cuphead stared at dovil time to time from how close she was getting to him but it was just jealousy, he couldn't do much since he didn't wanna upset bendy much more than he has already, soon she had left after an hour of check up and see if he was good to go or he had to stay,she left to go hand the test results in, leaving the two alone in the room together for a few hours, since the hospital was quite busy today, the both stayed silent again, bendy was watching the TV in the corner of the room from his hospital bed as cuphead stared ay the floor, he felt ashamed for hurting him and letting his anger get the best of him, the boiling rage that sat in his very own body, filled with the ecstacy feeling of alcohol every night that will come to an end one he figures out how to deal with the grieving loss of his little sister. He looked at bendy with sorrow filled eyes that were not filled with that shine just before the incident. Bendy didn't shoot a glance or even faced his way, all he wanted to do was go home. He hoped this nightmare will go to an end eventually but knowing them both, and how it was all going to go. It might not end for a long time, they waited in the deafening silent that left an empty feeling in the both of them, the creeping sound of hospital equipment and machines. People walking past and beds being moved room to room, sounds of people talking outside that very room they were in. After a few minutes of that uncomfortable silence. Bendy was released and able to go home, with some medication to help the healing process and the pain that filled his chest, he was happy he survived. Knowing cuphead, if he lost him that day, he would leave boris and mugman in the hands of the very person who would not have any hesitation to hurt them both even if he didn't want to. Cuphead guided Bendy to the vehicle, the seats were still stained in bendys blood, the look of cuphead rushing, seeing that he had a ticket for speeding and running red lights. He had to pay it off. Cuphead got Bendy into the vehicle as he closed the door, seeing his red mixed with orange eyes, gazing infront of the vehicle. He hasn't looked at him through the whole time they sat and stayed in the same room, cuphead got into the driver's side and started the vehicle, not wanting to anger Bendy more he drove off, making sure he was careful this time and took time to drive home, the silence stayed in between the two as bendy looked out the window, his arm across his stomach. Cuphead sighed softly as they got into the driveway "look.. I know you don't wanna talk to me.. but.. I know what I did was wrong, and I'm very sorry for breaking the promise.. but this t-" "this time!?. IVE GIVEN YOU PLENTY OF CHANCES TO FIX UP YOUR ACT AND THIS IS THE OUTCOME. YOU WONT CHANGE. ITS BEEN MONTHS. AND YOU WONT JUST ACCEPT SHES GONE! yes. We are all grieving over minty and she was a good kid!! She greatest friend and sister all of us could ask for. But at the same time, your acting like a complete asshole over this whole thing!! You haven't changed. You haven't saved money. You haven't even tried help me with boris and mugman. "I still need you here.. mugs does too.. it doesn't need to be said but its true, you mean alot and she did too, we all needed her yet her life was cut short.. and I know it's alot but healing can take time and you can take as much time as you need to... but doing it in this way isn't healthy and it's affecting us, I know I'm an asshole sometimes but you just get on my nerves so much I just wish you had fixed yourself before this happened.." he held his hand abit tighter, cuphead looked down at bendy, seeing the look on his face "its not a this time... I'll make it happen I promise.. and this promise wouldn't be broken, if I do break it. You have every right to kick me out or break up, I know what I'm doing is wrong but I can't help but just.. do it.. its this, empty feeling but I have a terrible feeling something else is gonna happen.." he sighed softly before holding up his face by his chin, and kissing his forehead "but I know I wouldn't do it if it meant hurting you.. hurting us, tomorrow I'll look for a job that pays good money and clean up the place, I know it's pretty clean but just.. make it up for ya, I'll do the cooking and the cleaning so you can heal" he smiled softly, bendy chuckled slightly as he moved his head away and smiled "Jesus fuck, your so embarrassing sometimes- but I trust you. And I won't break up with you, I'd probably put you on a rent or something, but just don't break it this time dumbass.." cuphead smiled softly and nodded, sighing softly and looking at the house "I promise.. and..."
