As I lay here alone in my bed,
Thoughts of losing you fill my head,
The very thought sends shivers down my spine,
A world without you, I simply can't divine.
Your love has been the anchor to my soul,
The one thing that keeps me whole,
But the fear of losing you is all too real,
A pain that only my heart can feel.
Every moment we spend together,
Feels like a precious treasure,
But the fear of losing you never fades,
A thought that constantly invades.
I hold on tight to the love we share,
Praying that it will always be there,
For without you, I am nothing but lost,
A soul that is stranded and tossed.
So my love, please know this is true,
I am scared to lose you,
But I promise to cherish every moment,
And hold on tight to us in this perfect ferment.
