Chapter Four: The Paper

Zoey's POV
Hello Reader viewing this, yes some of you may know but some of you don't so let me explain, I know that we're puppets and everything, yeah that boring stuff.

But, what I didn't know was this world can have such violence, and I thought this was supposed to be a kids show.

Anyways, now I'm in the back of a car of a random teenager who doesn't even have a license, I think their name is Fiona.

And on the passenger sear we have, Ms. Marie.

And us on the back, Me, Patch, Ms. Lilac and this guy named, Amor, so far Brother Amor has been the best supporting figure on this apocalypse.

Why can't my cousin be like him too?

"Fiona, are you sure you know where your going?" Marie said turning her attention to the half asleep chemist.

"Huh..oh yeah..why?" Fiona replied with a lazy tone, focusing on the road.

"Oh I don't know, maybe because..we've been driving for 6 hours and stopped for 2 Gasoline stations!" Marie yelled frantically as to Fiona, they seem unbothered.

Fiona sighed as they pushed the breaks and turned to Marie "We're here..I hope your satisfied." Fiona unbuckled her seatbelt and slammed the car door to exit.

Okay forget when I said they seemed unbothered.

The rest of us as well has got out of the door, and currently we're inside a military base..

Cool.

"..Okay..I'm pretty sure there's gonna be alot of zombies around here, so get ready.." Fiona turned to the group as she prepared her water gun for defence, the rest as well.

I grabbed two of my smoke bombs from my sling bag for incoming attacks.

"Remember the plan we came up with, Zoey throws the smoke bombs first to attract the zombies, Fiona will go to the Bunker and open it for us while we stall for them, got it?" Lilac instructed, as she held tightly to her Sharpened Stick, pretty lame but it works.

We nodded as we quietly approach the entrance, I take the first shot and threw the smoke bomb to the other direction.

That should distract them for a bit.

After most of the zombies got out of the way, we continued on our path, it was difficult really.

Lilac struggling to keep her stick from breaking, Patch trying not to feel bad after constant murder on zombies with their Scissors, Amor doing his best with slicing off the zombies with a Boomerang and then there's me who does no damage at all.

I'm lucky I cam still dodge and defend but not fight.

Marie really carried us, with her powers and all, she mainly protects Fiona.

"It's open..! Everyone, come in here!" Fiona yelled at us, as Marie held the door open and defended the base by creating wall of vines.

We got in there swiftly before every part of the Bunker is covered.

We finally can catch a break.

Most of us can barely breath, Amor is doing a great job for providing us with water, a great ally he is.

"..Hah..Fiona, that wall can't hold us any longer..this Bunker better be secured.." Marie said, huffing for some air, as she sat there across the room.

Fiona began taking out some things out of her bag, she's a chemist afterall.

"Don't worry, this Bunker was my Creator's, they used this during emergencies so we cam still last awhile, there's a few snacks on cupboard but don't eat all of it.." Fiona replied back, as she took out a few more liquids and a piece of paper, she began working like she was devoted for it.

After a few hours, the rest of us are pretty much doing good, Marie sleeping in Lilac's shoulder, I know what they are.

Patch casually playing eye-spy with Amor and then me, reading a chemistry book I stole from the Teacher's Lounge.

But..

It can't just be me, sometimes I wonder..what's in that paper.

By the past few moments, Fiona has been keeping that paper away from us.

Marie tried negotiating with then properly but they won't budge, this is the first time I see them so secretive about something.

Fiona told us about this Bunker that's supposed to be military property, they told us they were a lab experiment, but they won't tell us what's on that paper?!

...

I need to know, but now we have to watch and see, we can't rush things, we have to wait for it.

Patch's POV
It's been really fun! Ms. Fiona told me that we're gonna play the game where we eliminate the other teams!

It was a fun game! But, I can't help but feel bad after making them lose, I could've apologised but we're already stuck in this Bunker.

Aww, bummer, I wanna get out of here soon and see my friends again:(

Luckily, Ms. Fiona and this cool big brother is here! I think this guy is named Amor, he's been playing with me for awhile because Ms. Fiona is doing her work, Marie and Lilac are sleeping and even Zoey is reading:,(

"Mr. Amor! Can we have more ice cream sandwiches?" I asked, giving him the ol' puppy eyes.

"Gee, Sorry Patch but we're gonna run out of supplies soon if you keep eating our snacks" He replied, laughing and patting my head.

"Aww:(" I pouted, tho it's quite dissapointing, he's still a really cool guy!

Marie's POV
Fiona has been really odd, they've been working endlessly even before and after I woke up.

I think they're working on something to stop this madness

But why..?

Nothing is pushing them to their limits to do this, there's no reason for them to keep doing this.

So why?
