Shravani's POV.
"So how was your day?" I asked when Savannah jumped on my bed, making herself comfortable after her hectic day at school.
"Boring and I missed you." she wrapped her arms around me and pouted.
"Aww, but I didn't." she made a bad face but kept hugging me.
"Are you fine, Shravs?" she asked out of nowhere.
"I am, I just can't wait to walk now." she smiled and placed a tight kiss on my cheek.
"What's with you showing so much of love, huh? You aren't getting the phone anyway." rolling her eyes, she moved back.
"The thing is, you can't digest my love for you." I made a bad face at her words and huffed out.
"Anyways listen," and with that, she ranted about anything and everything that happened in her school today, giving me details of the spicy gossip and I heard it keenly as I was bored as well.
The funny thing is she actually dozed off beside after providing me with all the gossips.
Chucking, I leaned down and placed a kiss on her forehead before turning as I opened the side drawer to get my AirPods when something caught my vision.
I grabbed the box as the past flashed in front of my eyes, I opened it, tracing the thing I kept it inside; Jaiveer's Handkerchief.
I am crazy, right? It's been six years to that day and I still have it with me, secured, it's my treasure.

New York, City.
I wiped my tears again and again, but it didn't stop, my first pet died after being hit by the truck and as it's been already a day, but I miss her. Dad got me a kitten for my tenth birthday, I named her penny and she was with me for four years until she was hit last day.
Why did it happen to me?
I don't have any friends, she was my only friend.
Breathing out, I palmed my face when I heard the loud horn of the car, it won't be dad or mom, they had already left for their work and Savannah was at her academy for ballet practice.
