Individual Headcanons

Headcanon (Kai)

- Jiang, meaning 'River', is Kai's real last name but people tend to butcher it, so he found it easier to use his fathers last name instead; He also never had the greatest relation with his mother, since she doted on his sister more before they disappeared

- Kalama, meaning 'The Torch', is Kai's father's last name; His relationship with his father was better than his relationship with his mother, because the two were pretty similar

- Can speak Chinese well, but writing and reading are equivalent to a middle schooler's; Understands basic Hawaiian, and certain phrases but cannot read or write

Headcanon (Nya)

- Jiang, meaning 'River', is Nya's real last name but people tend to butcher it, so she copied Kai in using her fathers last name

- Kalama, meaning 'The Torch', is Nya's father's last name; Her relationship with her father was pretty standard for a father-daughter relationship

- Nya's relationship with her mother was pretty standard, though she doesn't remember anything about her mother anymore

- Struggles to write Chinese, but can hold conversations, and read basic Chinese

Headcanon (Cole)

- His mother, Lily D'Angelo, refused to give up her last name and gave him bother her and Lou's last name.

- Cole gets his stubborness, protective streak, and loyalty from his mother, the previous Master of Earth

- Both his parents are Italian but Lily has roots that trace back to Honduras

- Speaks, writes, and reads fluent Italian as that was the main language in the house, though after his mother died his father struggled to speak it at times, so he rarely uses it anymore

- Speaks basic words in Honduran from his own research, but cannot read or write 

Headcanons (Jay)

- Cut through his left eyebrow from playing with his father's toolbox

- Faded burn scar along the left side of his jaw from an invention gone wrong

Headcanon (Zane)

- Oddly unblemished skin; no scars, no acne, nothing

- Most of his body runs cold, except for his chest because of his power source and gears

- Can speak, read, and write all recorded languages perfectly, or, at the very least, accurately

Headcanon (Lloyd)

- His last name is Garmadon because his father had no tribe or clan name to pass on, so he was simply given his fathers first name

- Small, almost unnoticeable, scars in the corner of his eyes

- Ant bite scars along most of his body, centered on his torso

- Small scars along his body from his time at Darkley's

- Has begun learning Japanese from his father

- Has started picking up Greek words and meanings from [M/n]

Headcanon (Morro)

- Morro has vitiligo that resembles the pattern of a Hypnobrai; His maternal Grandmother was a Hypnobrai

- Cat eye syndrome

- Has a longer tongue than most

- Scars along his knuckles from fights, and training

- A multitude of scars cover his body from living out on the streets, training, and from after he left the Monastery

- Can speak Ninjaoan but struggles to write or read it

- Can speak, write and read Traditional Ninjaoan (Maori)

- Can speak and read Greek
