Well what is yang?
Yang is expressive, initiating and logical. They express external energies.
It is the forces of heaven represented within, maleness, light, activity (active; hyper) and penetration. Yes, you heard that right. They represent the mountains, odd numbers heat, fire and an unbroken line as well as the color azure or blue. Even order and Logical.
They are also represented by dragons.
Dragons are wise and benevolent serpentine beings.
The Dragon Zodiac is courageous, intelligent, charismatic, and passionate.
Its weaknesses are being impetuous, inflexible and brash.
They represent Earth because they bring water to the people animals and land. They are air and water gods that help the people.
Hardworking, honest and direct. They crave to be of use and are unable to recognize their limits.
Impressed by wealth and prestige.
Perfectionists who are prone to short bursts of rage.
Chongyun is reactive to heat and can actually over-heat (natural body temperature perhaps being above normal making him naturally hot and need to cool down) he is an exorcist a religious in a way figure who expunges evil from the world just because his engergy is so outward. He scares away or confuses spirits just with his presense.
He is born in the summer near the very end at least. He will be the most notable person filled with true yang energy.
As all things in a balance they represent their other half in some shape or form all while being their opposite. It doesn't mean that beings in a balance cannot exhibit features or forms relative to its other half.
Light skin and ressesive genes are usually also a part of the yang side.
And Chongyun expresses both.
