Xiangling is out (childhood friends) is about the only relationship wise developement they will get. Cause if they were being sold as a pair Xinyan would be introduced to Xiangling's friend group.
Yet she has no clue who Xingqiu is, no clue who Hutao is, despite the two being friends since they were little.
They don't scream relationship, more like the friend who goes with you to the mall to tell you if the clothes are good before you buy them.
Not Hutao either, they just met. And Xinyan is an over-positive person as in she looks for the best in everyone and it seems she is just friends with them. Xinyan doesn't think it is a good thing to scare people, hence why she answered jumpscares with a scared face rather than her usual rockin' demenor when refering to Hutao during the lantern rite music festival. As she gets mistaken as a monster by small children or a walking heart attack for older and traditional people when she walks down the streets because people assume she isn't up to anything good and are wary of her.
Yanfei wants to be a rapper. But I don't think Xinyan knows her.
Same with Kazuha. They are people who met on a trip together, they bonded over the love of music and song. But she also bonded with Venti (no one ships Venti and Xinyan unless you're that small percent, curious how that ship works) Kazuha is not the best for this due to him always being on the sea and Xinyan prefers to be in Liyue unless she sees an opportunity to promote her brand. Plus, I don't think he is ready to let another person in his life that way.
Xingqiu simply finds Xinyan a straight up nuisance. Calling any place she exists, touched by her, "disruptive presence". During the event he wasn't seeming too happy to be taken to the performance whereas Chongyun and Xiangling were over-joyed for the experience. I guess he went because he wanted to be supportive for his friends who wanted to see the show and Hutao who is on stage. As someone who states that Hutao is his poetry rival, they are quite close with each other. Chongyun also feeling uncomfortable around both of them #somewhat disinterested noble clap.
He states he likes the stag which means isolation and supposedly in FengShui represent living the lifestyle of making money and attaining fame. They also represent joy and longevity. His dislike of much of anything about her and all that makes Xinyan, Xinyan, makes it hard to believe anything will ever come of them. Especially friendship wise. I doubt they could be friends. Xinyan also doesn't mention him by name (if he was the one who took Chongyun to Xinyan's performance) hey she can't know everyone. But it is odd that she doesn't know Xingqiu's name since they hang out together all the time, yet only know Chongyun's, absolutely if she was asking around about him.
Chongyun of Tianheng is a great option. He doesn't necessarily hate Xinyan and gets ehem "hot and bothered" by her performances, not a great use of terms for that, don't know what could br more irritating, the fact he actually likes the music or that he might like more than just the performance. He has shown that he can get excited in a good "wow he really likes it" kind of way. He may not like or understand not having order, but it doesn't mean he hates it either. Choosing rather to stutter when talking about Xinyan's performances. He also likes justice and upholding good values. Xinyan believes taking a stand for those who have been wronged and taking on challenges is "rock 'n' roll". Chongyun proposes a "Victims of Xingqiu Alliance" and likes Xingqiu's devotion to chivalry because it falls within his moral compass yet still manages to become the butt of Xingqiu's jokes in a way. He is from a renowned family, it's different compared to Xinyan a peasant compared to him. His outfit is called "Pure Spirit" and Xinyan's is called "Ardent Soul" sounds poetic together, Innocent spirit, Lively soul; sounds like a motto. Ardent and Ardor both mean passionate. Being a yang spirit represented by the dragon he wishes to work hard for what he wants, but it has been a smooth sailing. Which doesn't fit well in his honest and upright heart. He wants to be a true exorcist who uses the exorcist arts. But being unorthodox is Xinyan's speciality, she will probably try and help him be able to see a ghost or demon without asking for payment even. ( ￣-￣) or at least until he decides and realizes he likes himself as he is but giving up isn't what she is known for. They have same morals (two sides of same coin) so I would say they would get along nicely seeing as he doesn't find her a disturbance like Xingqiu does.
Jin is one of Xinyan's biggest fans as well as vocal coach. She comes the closest to being Xinyan's manager. She has been to Xinyan's house and knows the most about her in a way as they hang out more because of Xinyan's interest in music. Xinyan is perfectly fine with Jin taking control of where they go. Mr. Yun is a good match. (I use Mr. because she refers to herself as Yun Xiansheng. Which means Mr. Yun or Sir Yun in the original language of the game.) She says "why can't a girl be called sir?"; because she was a genius from a young age, she should have this right being her reasoning. Jin and Xinyan have a strong base seeing as she took time to go and put herself into Xinyan's life. Also by seeing the jarring difference of Xinyan's home life and star life made Jin's support and fandom of her grow more... intense. (*'ﾉ∀'*)
