"Fuck off!" I yelled at the men that tried coming in to my office. "Fuck all of you!" I hit the desk with the pent up anger. A couple of hours of me brewing in my own anger, then couple of me just crying. Then, I felt the moon was gone and the sun out.
"Hey, can I come in?" LilyRose knocked on the semi broken door.
"What do you want?" I growled. I wanted everyone to just leave me alone, so I could cry.
"I need you to calm down. Things aren't going to be that easy for you and you knew that from the beginning. Now settle down before people start wondering why their alpha is acting up after a basketball tournament. Spotted outside with a 17 year old boy and then going ballistic. You need to sit your ass down and think of how you are going to win him over. Also! Fix this fucking door" I walked up to LilyRose and kissed her forehead.
"Thank you" She nodded and pointed at my chair.
"Sit down alpha"
"Yes mam"
"I've been your best friend for years. I know that being ruthless is what's gotten you from being just a gay alpha to a strong scary one. So I know it's how you normally handle things, but your mate is different. See things from his view"
"Ya I know I was rude to him. I tried apologizing but that didn't work! Then he was mean to me!! How dare he! " I looked down at my hand. Maybe I was ugly. Maybe he didn't like men of my color, since his boyfriend was white. Maybe he couldn't handle this beast of an alpha I was rumored to be. "I need to see him"
"Well, lucky for you I pulled his extra curricular activity file from the school. The boy does everything possible. On the weekend he volunteers at the homeless shelter, that's where we are going today" I smiled and grabbed my keys.
"Let's go!"
"Dinner! Feeds them dinner!" She said pointing at the clock that said it was barely 1pm. I spent the rest of the afternoon passing back and forth looking at the time. The door opened to my office and it was LilyRose.
"Is it time?" I asked, anxious to see my pup.
"Yes, let's go Carlos" she extended her hand out to me. I felt like I was betraying my mate by doing so, but I needed to keep the charade up.
We walked out of the pack house and got in my truck
"Alpha! Luna! So nice to see you two together" the warrior leader for the front of the pack territory said as we drove past his office. I growled. I don't have a Luna I have an alpha. He is beautiful and sexy and has a smile that lights my day up.
I drove fast not obeying all the traffic speed laws. Speeding to get thru the yellow lights. Finally, we get to the large building that is the homeless shelter. I look out the window and I see him. My Fran? Is that his name? The other boy called him that.
I quickly parked the car and I ran over to him. I could tell everyone there was human. No wolves except for him and I and LilyRose.
He was so focused that he didn't see me.
"Hey! Fran!" I called out his name to get his attention. His cheeks turned red. He tapped a girl on the shoulder and asked for her to take over what he was doing.
"What the hell are you doing here Carlos?" He asked pulling me to the side of the building.
'He touched us! He said our name!' My wolf howled with joy.
"I needed to" I didn't know what to say, I just stared at his eyes. "I am sorry, I forgot what I was going to say"
"Carlos, you're got to leave!"
