A dark place. A fortress, of glowing black crystal. As if it was made up of the matter in space. Dark and unknown, but everything glowed like a starry sky under a canyon moon.
Forming and destructing all at once. The darkness pulsated. It was alive, and it had waited for her since the day it was born.

No one knows how it began, but it never started with Anubis.

In the middle of this dark place, was a coffin. But not just any coffin. This coffin was made of gold. Shaped like an Egyptian queen. Her eyes always open. Her pupils black, and her unique eyeliner was sharp as a cat's eye, that it could kill any man.

The jewels surrounded the queen. Red, and green, and purple, and blue. Glowing in the dimness, as if it was showing signs of a life force.

And then she awoke. Her eyes opened, and she met with darkness.

Y/N didn't know where she is, but oddly, it felt comfortable and peaceful. She took in a deep breath. She felt her arms were crossed against her chest, making 'x', as if she were a body wrapped in linen. She wondered if she even was dead. If she felt dead. She didn't. But the darkness felt familiar to her, yet not.

She was able to lift her arms up. She felt a warm steel against her fingertips. She pushed up, and the lid of the coffin was up. She sat up.

She sure looked like a mummy.

She removed the linen from around herself. She looked up. There seemed to be a light on her, but there was no light to be found.

Her body had been laid in this coffin, on this magenta silk bed, and left to rest here, until she rose again. Until she'd resurrected. She couldn't imagine who had done this. She felt no remain of touch on anywhere on her body. No fading remembrance. Nothing.

But she disregarded it like money left in the rain, and she looked around as she climbed out. Her footsteps were as if she wore heels on a polished floor. They echoed, and the sound went out for an infinite amount of miles.

She looked up again, noticing that the walls were not merely advancing upwards, but leaning into one another, like a pyramid.

In front of her, was a large hall. So large, that she felt like an ant compared to a sequoia tree.

On either side of the hall, were two large identical statues. Both standing tall, and glowing in the dim light. They both had the head of a jackal, and the body Hercules. In their hands, was an ankh staff, as if they were here to guard the hall.

She felt intimidated, almost frightened that if she moved, they would strike at her. But she took some steps forward, and she knew that they were just statues.
