CHAPTER 4

SAPPHIRE'S POV:

You remember when I said the voice that spoke to me was the nicest voice I've ever heard, well what happened next wasn't the nicest thing actually.

"So, what's your name?" They asked. "My name is Sapphire". I said very confused.

"Hmm, so your name is blue?". He asked. Ugghhh, why do I get this a lot.

"No it means a rare diamond" I responded. I better get back, I don't know what he's planning. "Uh, I have to go". I said.

"Why can't you stay a little longer, there still time before break is over, let's just talk". Jackson said.

"What do you want to talk about?" I asked rather uninterested. Jackson looked rather taken aback, probably because no girl was this uninterested when talking with him.

He kept on looking at me without saying anything and I was getting annoyed. "If you wanted to waste my time, you could've just said so" I said and left without looking back.

It looked like he finally regained himself because what he said next made me rethink everything.

"I'll get you for this"

School passed like a breeze nothing, else happened so I had no choice than to go back to that hell hole.

I got home and noticed everywhere was silent which is weird. I go upstairs to my room to think about the events of today. There's a possibility Mia likes Chris, Minnie and her friends now hate me and now I have Jackson trying to talk to me, I now get home to find the house silent.

Everything today has been weird as f**k

I'm now showering, doing my routine when I get a text message.

Immediately she read the message me phone rang. It was once again Mia

"BITCH, JACKSON CAME TO TALK TO YOU AND YOU DIDN'T EVEN RUSH OVER TO TELL ME. AJEJSHUDTSRWRHIJRS!!!!! ARE YOU FOR REAL". She screamed immediately I answered the phone.

"Calm dow-". I was cut off by her saying "Don't you dare tell me to calm down, tell me what happened".

I told her what happened, she didn't say anything. "Hello? Are you still there?"

"Ok, you mean to tell me that THE JACKSON spoke to you and you outright IGNORED him??!?!?". She asked almost yelling.

"Well, when you put it like that yes, maybe I did ignore him". I said.

"Are you for REAL....... I'm speechless.......... Bruh". Mia said genuinely shocked.

"Ummmm I honestly don't know what to say so I'm going to change this conversation. So do you or do you not like Chris?"

"Pffffffttttttttt. Why would you ask that *cough* I don't like him *cough* don't ask that again". She said all flustered and shit.

"Awn, you're so flustered. You like him don't you?". I asked.

"Ummmm I have shit to do so I can't answer that. Byeee, take care". She said clearly running away.

"No, don't hang up on m-". I tried to say, but too late.

Call ended.

Suddenly, I hear the door upon. "Who's there". I asked.

"Oh it's just me". My mum said. I silently scream that she should go back to wherever she came from.

I go to lie down to take a short nap before dinner.

I woke up to mum yelling dinner is ready. I check the time and I see it's 9:00. What a time to have dinner.

I go to the kitchen take my food up to my room. I murmured a thank you before I get a lecture on how 'rude' I am.

I put the food on my table, bring out my book to study and do my homework. My mind wanders back to Jackson. Is he going to talk to me tomorrow? If he does, what am I going to say? What about Minnie and her crew?

I need to focus on my books not on these people. I ate my food and decided to read for 1hour and then scroll through tiktok. Yes. That's my motivation.

It actually varies but this will do for the night.

I start actually studying and then my phone receives a notification. I'm torn between reading or checking what it is.

I give up and check and it's a message from......
Another unknown number. How are these people getting my number.

I was scrolling through tiktok watching two girls singing and running. I think the name of the song was "you wish".

That video was everywhere, so I got bored and went to sleep. I couldn't even take my plate downstairs or shit.

I just slept wondering what tomorrow will have in store for me.
