STORY OF MY LIFE

CHAPTER 7

SAPPHIRE'S POV:

So after Jackson left, I couldn't help but wonder why he started caring about me all of a sudden but I didn't want anything to do with it. I already had a bad day and he's the least of my problems right now.

On my way to class, I was being waved by Mia who probably thought I was in a better mood by now. It hurt me to have been so rude to her when she only wanted to talked to me. So I'm gonna try to at least hold a conversation with her.

''Hey Sapphire! Wait up'' She yelled after me. I slowed down. She grabbed me by my arm on which I cut myself yesterday and it hurt like a bitch and i winced at the pain. Then i tried to cover it up. 

''Hey Mia, what's up?'' I said trying to hide the pain. She finally let go of my arm making me sigh in relief. 

''I just wanted to check if you felt better now. You know.....earlier you didn't look happy at all. So I felt I should check up on you.'' She said. I couldn't help but feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing someone is at least worried for me even after my harsh response to her this morning.

It felt weird that someone was even in the slightest bit worried for me. So I kept staring at her until I snapped back to reality.

''Umm I'm ok now, I was just really upset at something this morning. It was nothing, really. I'm really sorry for the way I spoke to you earlier. It was wrong of me to do that when you were just trying to talk to me''. I told her, feeling extremely sorry.

''It's alright, everybody has their bad days. I'm not angry or anything, I completely understand''. She said.

''Anyways lets head to class, we're already late as it is''. I said.

During break period, I found myself looking for Jackson in the cafeteria which was weird. I quickly stopped myself from doing that. I sat with Mia and Chris. Chris was telling Mia what happened in class earlier with Jackson.

''WHAT!!! Why didn't you tell me that this happened''. Mia screamed. Everyone was looking at her as if she'd grown another head.

''Because, it's not that big of a deal''. I said.

''It's not that big of a deal..... Chris, she said it's not that big of a deal. THE Jackson sat with you to try to comfort you and you're saying it's not a big deal...... What the butt is your problem''. Mia exclaimed.

Even though i was trying to be a little happier today, i actually hoped that Mia would just drop the topic of Jackson because even I was confused.

"Mia I think we should just let the topic rest". Christian said probably picking up on my reluctance to speak on the topic.

"But, don't you think it's a little strange". Mia asked still persisting. "Am I the only one that thinks this is really out of character for Jackson?". She continued. 

Honestly i really couldn't care less. 

Why? You might ask, the reason being that I'd rather not deal with a love life right now and even if I do, it definitely would not  involve Jackson because I don't need the whole female and maybe even some of the male population of the school coming after my neck.

Oh and a certain queen bee or would I say mouse, who feels very entitled to Jackson. 

Another point being that I honestly don't believe in true love.... at all. Like have you seen my parents? If that's what love is, i do not  want anything to do with it. 

"Hey bitch". A certain queen mouse popped by our table, reminding me that I had zoned out of any conversation I was having with Mia and Christian.

"What do you want Minnie?". Mia asked rolling her eyes.
