Soulmates are a blessing in the world.
Everyone is born with soulmark/soulmarks.
If their partner isn't born yet then their marks will be ash grey colour. After their partner is born their soulmark will get its colour.
If you are close to your mate you will feel your mark tingling and burning.
Once you make eye contact with your mate your burning will increase and won't stop until you both accept your mates together.
You can't reject your mate or else it will lead to the death of both of you.
However, the concept of soulmates is different in different realms but one common thing is that you will have your soulmates initials with symbols or pictures. When you meet your soulmate their full name will appear in the place of those initials. They will be visible but they will be small so that it helps with privacy.
Most mates are very protective of each other. In each bond, there will be a DOM mate and a SUB mate. It will help balance the bond and make it stronger.
