Kaimana's POV
I woke up this morning feelin like P Diddy- NAH NAH JK😂-
I woke up this morning at 4:00am so I could spend a few hours just procrastinating. And finally started getting ready a 6:30am.
I had a quick shower before getting dressed into a comfortable sweater and leaving my black wavy hair out.
After that I left my room and went downstairs to eat breakfast. I saw my mum in the kitchen cooking up breakfast. And she was wearing a white pantsuit with an apron on top.
"Hey sweetie."My mum said with a sweet smile. "Made some pancakes for breakfast." She told me while holding up the frying pan with pancakes in it.
"Thanks ma." I thanked her before walking towards the kettle to make some coffee.
"Sooo... Have any plans today?"
I asked her wondering." "Not much, just have to deal with a few patients and checkups, that I have to do." She smiled. "Oh, cool." I say giving her a small smile and sitting down at the kitchen counter to drink my coffee.
"What about you K? Any plans?" She said in a questiony tone.
"Um.. nope not really." I told her shrugging, sipping on my drink."Oh c'mon kaimana, you really need to make some new friends sweetheart." She told me giving a sympathetic look, and serving me my food. "Yeah well I just don't really see a point to talking to a bunch of fake people that I have no interest in talking to." I explained making slight hand gestures.
"Well if you don't want to make any new friends then why don't you-"
"Don't start mum!" I interrupted her knowing where she was going with this conversation."Oh come on kaimana just give them a call." She said begging me.
"No forget it alright." I said rolling my eyes, continuing to stuff my face with food. And she sighed."Listen, I know you guys since what happened to Amy, but just realize that they are probably going through a tough time right now as well. So can you at least try." She asked pleading, while tilting her head.
I scratched the left side of my face, pretty much just giving up on this conversation. "I- I'll think about it alright." I give a her a fake smile.
"Ok, thank you darling." Mum said smiling happily, and going back to cooking. Shortly after my dad walked in the room, holding a black leather briefcase.
"Hello my two favorite girls." He smiled at the two of us just as my little sister Jennifer walked in with her phone in her hand. "Uh- I'm here too." She reminded waving her hand.
"Don't worry I didn't forget about you." Chuckling with a coy smile.
Then walking up to mum kissing her. "Ew gross, stop please." I said clenching my face cringing."Someone's jealous since they have no love life." Dad clapped back and my little sister bursted out laughing.
"Ok that one was below the belt." I told dad, pointing my finger at him.
"I swear to God sometimes it feels like I'm raising four children." My mother said rolling my eyes and taking off the apron."Alright kiddo's, right now it's time for us to get to work, and you to school." Mum said glaring at me. Making me stuff the rest of the food in my face and sculling my coffee.
I jump up and out of my seat and grab my backpack off from the ground next to me.
"C'mon Jen, let's go." Doing a following hand gesture. "Uhm. Ha, yeah no I'd rather be seen with Dad then you to be honest." She said insulting me with a wide smile, while I just stared at her with my nose slightly twitching from annoyance. "Jennifer! That's enough alright." My dad said trying to stand up for me, but before I said, "It's fine dad, I don't care. But you can do the honer of walking to school alright."
I say turning back to Jen and eyeing her up and down, and walking towards the front door before my dad stopped me.
