You'd explained to anna how Nate was friends with Tom- which was why he was over at yours.

"Ohh.. i thought you were with Tom or something" Anna laughed.

you shake your head, as the school bell rings.

she drags you out with her before you got to say anything more to Bill. when you looked back, he seemed like he was about to speak. You give him a sorry look as you followed Anna out.

Regrouping in the hallway, you speak with Maria.
"wanna go out after school?" You say, as the both of you head to study hall, dragging behind the group once again. "Sorry, i need to study for my History paper tomorrow." Maria says.

You pass your big brother and his friend group, he was also what you call 'popular' in her school. Ruffling her hair- he passed her saying "i'm staying out tonight, so is mum".  With that he passed her his keys and left.

Truth is although he was 17, Nate wasn't supposed to stay out. He'd had a tendency to get into very serious trouble a lot last year, illegal trouble. But as siblings you looked out for one another- and Y/n wouldn't ever snitch on Nate.

Maria looked to you with a smile, she liked Nate, you could tell. Maria was cute, she had curly black hair and dark skin, the complete opposite to you.

Maria was one of the only people you felt actually understood you. When the two of you were together it felt like you were the only ones on the earth.

Now for study hall. You both walked in and sat in your usual spots. In the middle back of the classroom. To your right leon, to your left Maria.

once again plugging in your headphones, you zone out. Before you know it 20 minutes had passed.

You'd became bored of sitting in silence and decided to head to the toilet.

On your way there, you heard your phone buzz. pulling it out, the notification surprises you

slipping your phone back in your pocket, you'll add him back later.. It's not that you dislike Tom- But he came across as very confident yesterday.

If anything you could see yourself becoming close friends with his brother Bill. However you had to give it to Tom, he was very good looking. You'd gotten so nervous seeing him stand in your house, he was even taller than Nate.

Now on your way back from the toilets, the twins are somehow still playing on your mind, no way i live next door to famous band members..?

The corridors in your school feel like they never end.. you'd been wandering down an empty hallway, when you noticed an unmistakable person in the far distance. Bill.

He waves you over and smiles, he was always so bubbly and sweet. "Hey y/n". "I wanted to ask if you were walking home today, your friend kind of dragged you out of maths though."

You think back to the way your conversation was rudely interrupted when Anna pulled you away with her, she was definitely jealous.

"Toms not in school, only his second day and he's already skipped- can you believe that?"

"sure i'll walk with you, actually my brothers going out anyway so... and wow whys Tom off?"
"not sure.. he didn't really go to school in our old town either. We hoped this time would be different."

"i'm sure he'll come in tomorrow." You say to Bill, as the two of you walk side by side.
"hey, y/n. do you want to come to mine later? i'm pretty sure Toms going somewhere with Nate.. And i told my mum i actually made a friend in this school, she wants to meet you." Bill asks

You smile at him, Thinking to how his previous school must have been, if his mum seamed shocked that he'd made a friend. "Yes of course! And did Tom tell you where him and Nate were going?" You question-

just as Bill was answering, you'd realised that you'd passed study hall, and apologised to Bill before heading back in.

All eyes were on you as you made your way back to your seat, they must've seen you pass by with Bill. Come to think of it, you were the only person who Bill had actually spoken to in your school.. probably hence the staring from your classmates.
