An angel sang a song today;

A demon did her wrong today.

And I do hope her beauty stays,

her lovely voice and graceful ways.

The demon fell from heaven

Very long ago.

He tried to take her down with him,

But she simply said no.

She loved him, yes, of course she did,

She had just made a choice.

Decided that he was no good,

But couldn't make herself rejoice.

A demon and an angel--

What a very unlikely pair!

but the angel found her love too strong;

Separation too great to bare.

The angel went to hell that day,

Away from love and laughter.

And although she missed heaven above,

She had her own happily ever after.

The angel fell from heaven

Not too long ago,

Her demon brought her down with him,

And she did not say no.

An angel sang a song today,

The demon did no wrong today.

Her beauty lasted, it has stayed.

Her lovely voice and graceful ways.
