Prologue

One Year Later

It's now been a year since the events at the Fountain of Youth. Jack and I have had many exciting adventures. We've seen some of the most beautiful places. Although there is a down side, I haven't been feeling that well. I've been getting sick a lot and that's unusual for me. "It's definitely not seasickness," I thought. So, at the next port, I went to go see a doctor.

After a few tests, the results came back. "Congratulations, Mrs. Sparrow! You've going to be a mother," The doctor said. I was shocked! I touched my stomach, "I'm carrying Jack's child?" I thought. "This is amazing! But how am I going to tell Jack?" I thought, worry coming over me. I went to find Jack. "Jack, love?" "Darling! How did your appointment go with the doctor?" He asked.

"It went well. There's something about we need to talk about," I said. Jack got a worried look on his face. "Darling, what is it? No! Are you dying?!" He asked, clearly panicking. "Jack, Jack! I'm ok! I'm just pregnant!" I said. "Oh!" Jack said with a smile. "We're having a baby! My love is carrying my child!" Then Jack picked me up and spun me around, laughing happily. He touched my stomach, "That's our baby in there?" I nodded, "Yes."

Soon, nine months went by and I was due any day now. We found out that we were having twins pretty early on. Jack and I were so excited. To make things easier, we made sure that we were close to a port. Suddenly, I felt a rush of something and I knew that I was going into labor. "Jack! Jack, it's time!" I yelled. "Hang on, darling!" He said. After many hours of hard labor, our twins; Elizabeth Calypso and William Jack were brought into the world.

I was holding Elizabeth and Jack was holding William. "Darling, you have made me the luckiest man in the world. I promise you that I will do whatever it takes to protect you and our children," He said. "I know that you will, Jack. I love you too," I said. We were now starting a new adventure as parents of two beautiful children.
