All of my chapters will be between 500-1500 word cap. Some chapters will be some unimportant chapters, labeled UC, leaving with probably less than 500.

Keep in mind that I added some things that was inspired from some of my friends. If one of you want it removed, PM me or tell me somehow someway.

"Hurry up! We're going to be late!" Carson replied while fiddling with his 'tism' cube. "Late for what? There's no one there, plus we didn't even have to register to stay." David said as he crammed clothes and electronic equipment inside his pack. Carson rushed in his answer. "Well...you know what I mean!" "No, I don't. Half the time I don't even know what you're talking about in general." Carson scoffed and stomped his way to the car after hearing the doubtful message. David couldn't bother speaking to Carson as Carson slammed the door. "Stupid rascal. He's older than me and still acts like an annoying child." David muttered to himself. It's clear to see that Carson and David just can't get along, but with the new campground they are headed to, they might not have a choice whether to work together. Carson and David both got in the car with the loaded trunk full of tech and clothes. The engine of the car started, signaling that there was no turning back. But the guys didn't know that.

It was dusk during the Winter season as David and Carson reached their destination with deep layering of clothing pressing tightly on their skin slowly approaching a corroded, mossy metal gate. Apparently, the gate's automatic opening system broke down due to it's age. The technology of the glass screen right beside the gate supposedly was damaged horribly. Devastating as it was, Carson brightened his car lights and automatically turned his head to David. "May I?" Carson admitted to wanting the gate fixed. David angrily responded with, "Y'know we could just open the gate with our two hands that God gave us! Not everything has to be electronics or have to deal with fixing stuff!" "Oh yeah David? W-Well not everything has to be uhmmm... vlogging! Or is it uhhh... Maki-" "You can't even come up with a comeback! You're even worse than a guy saying, 'SLAY'. In fact, I don't even know why I chose to hang out with you!" "I asked because I thought you would- no, we could hang out for once and actually get along even with our differences." "If you want to hang out with me ever again, Carson, you're gonna have to find some friends! You're just weird." "Bro! We're just fighting over a stupid gate! Just let me fix it and we can go back to finding our camping spot." "No! Nope, never. I'm going to find my own spot without a nerd on my side. *opening car door and exiting.* We'll see how you survive without a right hand man." David slammed the door shut and pushed open the gate with his resentment of Carson coursing through his veins. Sadly, this anger was an anger like no other, not responding to the calls of Carson's voice from the car. The bad part about this was that David forgot his pack in the trunk which Carson was calling David for. David stormed off into the woods while Carson endured and studied his surroundings as the moon rose up higher the longer he stayed.

Nothing except crickets and wind blowing leaves filled the silence and crowded both ears of each surviving charms standing tall on the strong dirt wondering how surviving would be. David was looking for some shelter just so he could survive the Winter night. He walked around, shivering his legs off, and found a concealed area where there were no signs of Carson. The spot was a large, somehow clean hole inside an unnaturally large tree. The air inside was warm. David was reminded of bird holes in trees, but much bigger; fitting David's height. When David entered, the place was oddly furnished. Walls were draped in luxury wallpaper, but the floor was torn. David would explore all of the rooms, but all he could do is sleep next to the fireplace radiating David's skin with heat. Even with the nice decorations, there was ought to be a downside. The warm air and the broad smell of blood crowded David's nostrils. Painful as it was to breathe in the bloodied air, there was no other location for David to sleep at except outside where all of the creatures took place. Carson started taking notes on whether they should set up camp since David refused to stay. While Carson studied the mass amount of equipment, he checked everything. Surprised and shocked to their very cores, Carson and David, even when being distant, both realized that they forgot some of the most important pieces of survival. Food and water.
