Operation Rogue: Week three

Location: Namjoon's House

Time: Past midnight (What do you expect from him)

Mental Health status: Sanity slightly lower than average male adults.

Achievement: Mental Health is finally comparable to humans.

"How bad was it?" Asks the older man blankly, maybe even pitifully cause he knows that Jimin barely drinks.

The other, tilts his head and blinks, lips jutting out to a drunken pout.

"What bad was?" He asks nonsensically, speech slurred.

"Your talk with the SI of the Police?"

Jimin laughs almost immediately, a rare thing to witness on the other, eyes glistening with tears not out of sadness or pain, but because he was absolutely wasted.

After all, the last thing Namjoon ever expected was a the door-bell of his house ringing at 1AM in the morning, the blonde male out of all people showing up with a couple of bottles of vodka and a question as absurd as— "Are you free?"

And Namjoon wasn't the type to send anyone back like that, even if it meant a major inconvenience.

"Your people— Namjoooonnn— fuck! fuck your people! So sooo full of themseleves!"

His people, Namjoon— the assistant SI of Seoul Police, stiffles a laugh.

"Well the government made such rules they can't help but be stric—"

"Fuuuucck the government!"

The passion in Jimin's voice made Namjoon break out into a laugh at this ungodly hour.

"Hey Jimin, it's okay—"

"Noooo! Fuck the goverment Namjooon!" Jimin drawls, pouring another drink for himself. "So what! So what if my members iced up the entrances of the bank! Huh! So what if they blew up a car out of suspicion! So whattttt— You know what— I think they should've put the place on fire! Blow up their ohhh sooo precious building!"

"Jeez, Jimin, you'd be behind bars of they listened to this."

But Jimin just scoffs weakly.

"You don't get it." He mumbles, suddenly sounding sober. "I shouted at my teammates yesterday, I shouldn't have— But I was so so mad at the encounter with Jungkook— felt nothing less than a stupid police officer, powerless as he escaped right in front of my eyes."

His eyes droop with tears, except this time the other understands he's breaking down, so he shuffles closer.

"I let my anger get the best of me and that's— that's so unprofessional of me. I'm s-such a bad leader."

"Hey there." Namjoon cooes, heart aching as he embraces the other into his arms, Jimin falls into it weakly and eagerly.

"You're not a bad leader Jimin, you're also human after all."

Namjoon's jaw clenches tight when he feels the other's small frame shake against his.

Jimin's crying, he's really crying and it's devastating cause Jimin is such a strong person to him.

"You're doing more than needed Jimin." Namjoon whispers, making sure to continue holding the sobbing male tight against him. "You're doing a lot more than other's, and with that you're also killing yourself."

Jimin continues to silently sob.

"I want you to stop for a while, pause and breathe, for me, please." He pleads softly. "Even if it's for a week, just forget about everything and work on yourself—"
