Chapter 03: What's the plan?

Operation Rogue: Day 1

Jimin: feeling fabulously exhausted

Taehyung: As energetic as ever

Time: 4 minutes to 8 A.M

Location: Head office in some abandoned old warehouse.

"Good morning Jimin-ssi."

Jimin nods, forcing on a tight smile to not appear rude even when he didn't really feel like it.

"Hey Alora, how're you doing?" He chats up, knowing that chemistry was an important element in the team.

The said woman, Alora was her name, her eyes widen, swiftly brushing her long bangs off her face.

"You know me?"

Raven hair, captivating silver orbs, ghostly pale skin, and a face that deems that she's pure.

The embodiment of Ice indeed.

"Well I've done my research, nice to meet you." Jimin smiles, extending his arm for a handshake which the other accepts at a comfortable pace, smiling back.

And as expected, her hand was as cold as ice.

"You too Jimin, I didn't have to do research over you though, everyone knows you." She states.

True, unlike other superheroes, Jimin hadn't exactly been undercover about his powers, not a follower of rules ironically, even if he did limit using it once the government put a ban on his kinds.

"Flattered." He says, now naturally turning away to look at the other members.

5 members including him, 3 males, 2 females.

"Line up." Jimin commands, hands going to the back as he steps forward for a lead, and the other's do, lining up side to side, hands to the sides.  "Do the honors of introducing yourself."

The man on the very right spoke up first, smile hearty and voice booming.

"Kim Taehyung, age 27, superpower— Telekinesis and hypnosis."

Jimin smiles, watching the others raise their eyebrows, impressed.

Next man, dark ginger hair, eyes flaming and face godly sculpted.

"Aiden, age 29, superpower— Fire and electricity elemental outbursts."

Jimin nods, smiling at him.

"Next."

"Alora, age 25, superpower— Ice and speed."

Jimin raises his eyebrows at that, he didn't know speed was one of her strengths, which was very handy.

The next woman, she was quite the opposite of Alora, she was tall, maybe even more than Jimin, and her hair was short, her built anything but fragile.

"Audrey, age 30, superpower— strength and earth control."

"Wow." Jimin cheers, knowing such combinations were all-powerful.

Well why the combinations?

Because, unlike the humans, the children of the superheroes gain powers of both parents, and not the traits of just one alternatively or by luck.

Knowing that the anomaly of super-humans had become known to the public in the early 90's, it was normal for the superhumans to have more than one powers through same kind marriages, and maybe only one if one of their parents were human.

"Apart from the fact that we're the perfect team with special abilities and individually good-looking, we're also aliens in this society."

Eyes flicker towards each other, trying to grasp the true meaning of what Jimin just said, even though they knew what he meant deep inside.
