"Hey, I asked you something!" Porchay is pouting as he tries to catch Kim's attention. Kim doesn't budge and keeps walking. They are in the centre of Bangkok. Surrounded by big buildings and expensive stores.

Kim walks into a Versace store. Porchay quickly follows him inside. It's smaller than what you would expect but it kind of makes sense since only a small amount of people can afford such expensive clothes. The walls are filled with perfume and handbags in all forms and sizes. Porchay can't believe his eyes and kind of hides behind Kim.

"Why are we here? I don't see you wearing Versace." Says Porchay awkwardly. Kim finally turns around.

"I don't know, I just wanted you to shut up about it okay." Kim smiles while saying it, making Porchay feel offended. "Why can't you just tell me how Porsche got into that situation?" asks Porchay pouting again. "It's nothing important, okay, you really don't have to worry about it. trust me for once." Tries Kim again. "If it isn't that important, why can't you just tell me."

It goes on for another hour and they eventually end in a cat cafe in a small alley next to a huge New Yorker.

The cat cafe itself is bigger than they expected. There are about 20 cats and Porchay's eyes immediately falls onto a small grey and fluffy cat. The cat turns out to be a girl according to a cute little book with all the information about all of the cats there. The cat used to live in an abusive household in America but her owner got arrested for shooting someone and the owners of the cafe ended up buying her. She has only been there for one week and you could tell her past because of how skinny she is.

Kim notices Porchay's interest in the little fluffball and stands up, leaving Porchay questioning.

'Are we leaving already? But I don't want to leave." Kim walks around the table and grabs Porchays sleeve. They walk to the counter and Kim tries to get the attention of the old sweet-looking lady behind the counter.

"Is it possible to adopt a cat?" he asks. The lady looks at him with a smile. "We do but not just to anyone. I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if I gave one of my dear children to an abuser or someone who is gonna dump him or her once he or she gets tired of having pets."

Porchay looks up surprised. Kim doesn't look like the type to adopt cats either.

"I wouldn't dare to hurt a cat, but my boyfriend here tops it easily. We once watched a movie where a dog died and he cried for hours. You don't have to worry about him doing the poor cat any wrong." Repeats Kim.

"So the cat is for the young gentleman here? In that case, I will trust you. wich cat caught your attention?" Kim looks around the room, scanning for the cat, he eventually spots her sitting on one of the chairs on an empty table. The woman walks around the counter. "I see you like Renata?" She walks towards the cat and slowly wraps her arms around her, picking her up. She hesitates a bit at first but eventually finds comfort and starts purring.

"She is an absolute angel but you have to be careful with her. You need to make sure not to rush things so that she can build her trust towards you." She walks towards Porchay and slowly hands over the cat as carefully as possible."

Porchay cuddles with Renata for a bit while Kim strokes her back. It doesn't take a long time for her to be comfortable.

Kim checks the time and realises that it is already extremely late so he walks up to the lady. "How much do you want for her?" The lady smiles again, "You don't need to pay, as long as she is safe it doesn't matter to me."

They leave the door with the cat and immediately continue to a pet store to buy toys and food. Kim pays for everything even though Porchay keeps telling him that he wants to pay for it himself.

They walk towards the car together with multiple bags and Renata under their arms. Renata has fallen asleep, She had been running around in the pet shop and didn't stop till Porchay finally managed to catch her after he and Kim had been running after her. They got a lot of stares from other people in the store and they were kind of scared that they would get thrown out but the people there seemed to love it.

The car is on the other side of the park, the weather hasn't been this good in ages and tens of cute couples are sitting together in the grass having a picnic or just lying in the grass.

"We should do that too someday," says Porchay to break the relatively comfortable silence.

Kim looks at him with a smile. Porchay notices that he kind of looks sad. "Is something wrong, you don't want to?" he asks "Or did I say something wrong?" The least he wants right now is to make him sad.

"No it's nothing, I just never got the chance to have a picnic before." Kim already feels a bit better knowing that Porchay seems to care about him.

"You have never picnicked before? I thought pretty much everyone at this age would have at least gotten the chance to do that with friends or family or even a boyfriend or girlfriend once." Porchay would understand if he just didn't get the chance yet but then he wouldn't have seemed so sad about it. Maybe he did get the chance but something happened or something like that.

"It's just that my family isn't the type to do stuff like that. That's all," says Kim and Porchay immediately feels bad and a little bit guilty. He and Porsche used to do that stuff all the time.

"Then why didn't you just go with friends?" Asks Porchay. He immediately regrets it because something about Kim's expression changes for a sec. He probably said something wrong. "If you don't want to talk about it it's fine. It might be something you want to forget so I won't force you to tell me."

Kim feels butterflies in his stomach, no one has ever been that considerate to him. Being born into a family of mafia leaders isn't the most ideal. His dad was always busy with work and kept trying to force the leadership onto him and made him learn all about their business up until deep into the night. Even just the thought of it hurts and he is glad that he escaped from there cause there is no way he could put up with the life that Kinn is living right now.

He doesn't even notice that they are already standing in front of the car. He had been overthinking his past and felt bad towards Porchay for being so quiet.

Luckily Porchay seems more focused on his new pet who has finally woken up and has been blessed with another wave of energy.

They step into the car and Kim drives them back to Porchay's house. He has decided to stay with him there for a while since it might be hard for Porchay to suddenly have to live all alone. Even though it is also kind of an excuse to escape from his own house. even though he isn't living in the main family's house, his house is crawling with bodyguards because the enemies of his family would take every chance they get to kidnap him and force him into telling information.

-------------------------------------------------------------

I'm still updating without suddenly ghosting, somehow. It's so fun to write and I just don't get sick of it at all lately even though I stopped updating the other one since the new chapters are getting zero reads. :(

It's more fun to update this story anyway though so I might completely delete it.

Renata means reborn in Latin, I wanted the cat to have a name with meaning and this one really caught my mind. :)

Luv yall<3
