Madness

The black car that had come to pick him up was filled to the brim with men in suits, Porsche recognised the man beside him to be the one with the ponytail he had seen in the barn earlier, his arm was still in a casket which made sense since the kidnapping had only been yesterday.

The guy behind the steering wheel seemed familiar as well, he had sharp facial features and he had the same American accent that one of the other guys in that forest had, the one he knocked out even.

The other guys in there were unfamiliar to him, maybe some of them had been there too the day before but Porsche couldn't remember them since he wasn't planning on getting to know these guys back then anyways.

The guy with the ponytail leaned into him while still looking straight ahead, "Hey, I'm Big."

Porsche looked at him with an awkward smile and wanted to make a joke to stop the moment from being awkward but he couldn't think of anything. "Porsche."

"I know. and just so you're aware, the guy behind the steering wheel is Ken. He is still mad at you for you know... Beating him. He's pretty sensitive so stay out of his way."

"Well, he shouldn't have pointed a gun at me."

The car suddenly slowed down and Porsche received a glare from both Big and the guy in the passenger seat, immediately shutting him up and going back to looking outside. They were going towards the centre of the city with all the big skyscrapers and football stadiums.

It was not a place Porsche had visited often since he never had the money to go shopping or afford to go to a football game. The only times he could remember were when his parents were still alive, they would take him to go to a famous temple so that they could pray.

Thinking back about them hurts and he didn't do it often. Thinking back about those days where he could still follow school without worrying about the costs, and go out with his friends.

It had been a long time since the accident happened but all Porsche remembered from it are the sounds of his parent's screams.

He had woken up in the hospital with the whole moment of the accident being a blur in his mind. His uncle had told him that they had died in a car accident and that the impact had made him lose his memories and it had taken Porsche months to get over it, only emotionally which was kind of weird but why question it now?

The car took a sharp turn, freeing Porsche from his endless thoughts and he remembered the situation he was in. He would be a bodyguard of someone he didn't like.

The only good thing that came out of all of this was that his brother was safe, Kim had promised not to do anything to him and had offered to even take care of him in Porsche's absence which did make him feel better.

The guilt however was like a stone in his stomach, he had left the house early in the morning and had left a note on the kitchen table explaining that he had found a job overseas where he would make enough money to pay for the house but that one of the rules were to not have phones with you to not get distracted. That's the only somewhat believable thing he could come up with.

Kinn had promised to cover all of their rent costs as well as Porchay's school and some extra money so that he would be able to do normal things like going to concerts and vacations.

The car finally came to a stop after what felt like a lifetime. The driveway was nothing like Porsche had ever seen before. It was more like a circle that curled around a ginormous fountain. The car had stopped right in front of the house itself, which had at least 20 times the size of his own house, not even starting about the garden.

The exterior was gold marble with pillars of the same colour supporting the huge balconies. Everywhere they could look was green in the form of bushes, trees and grass and at certain places of the walls, even nicely trimmed vines.
