Anyways, Forks High School has to have a girls soccer team, right?

It doesn't. I'm screaming right now. Mentally. But let's backtrack.

After arriving in Seattle, Dad picked me and Bella up in his police cruiser. While I gave him a hug, Bella awkwardly shook his hand. I sighed before climbing into the backseat. I really don't know what goes on in my sister's head.

And the drive back was even worse because when Dad tried to make conversation with Bella, he chose the worst subject. Hair.

"Your hair looks longer" Charlie said as we finally past the sign saying we were entering Forks. Population, 3120 people. Well, 22 now.

"I've cut it since the last time I saw you" Bella responded, making me was to groan in pain. Yes, Bells, you cut it but sometimes it's better to lie.

"Oh... must've grown out again" Charlie responded before he realized talking to me would probably end up being much better. "How's soccer going Lauren?"

And that question sparked a conversation that lasted the whole ride home. From soccer, to the USWNT, then to teams in Europe, and eventually we reached home. A small two story white house that could probably use a paint job was my new home for however long I'd be staying. Hopefully until graduation.

"Well let me show you girls inside," Charlie said as he lead us through the past. While walking past the poorly decorated kitchen and the small living room I'm left with a feeling of pity? Dad hasn't changed anything since mom left...

Forcing myself to not think about the sadness in that, I walk into my room and immediately hit with this weird feeling. Melancholy? Maybe...I don't really know what that means though. I just know that the hand turkeys and drawings of Dad, Bella, and I on the cork board make me feel guilty for leaving him here alone for so long.

"I hope you like blue," Dad says as he gestures to the new blue comforter on my new full sized bed.

"It's my favorite color," I say as I smile at Charlie, touched that he remembered. "I really haven't changed much from when I was 7, Dad"

The comment makes Dad laugh before he pulls out of my room, leaving me to unpack.

After I store my clothes and place down my trophies and medals, I walk into Bella's room and fall into her purple sheets.

"Will you miss mom?" I ask I stare at Bella's ceiling fan, watching it as it spins around and around.

"Yeah," Bella sighs as she placed her clothes into her drawers, "But this will be good for everyone"

"Especially for you," I say, making Bella look at me in confusion. Sitting up, I sigh, "You deserve a break from being a parent Bells. Have fun, be a stupid teenager"

"That's always kind of been more of your thing," Bella says, as she smirks and lets put a laugh when I throw one of her pillows at her.

"I'll have you know that I only got drunk. There's been nothing else illegal from me. Not even canoodling" I say with a large smile on my face.

"Yeah, well maybe you should get a boyfriend," Bella says with a fake snarky attitude.

"You get one first," I say as I stand up, "then I'll look"
