Getting out?

Erin's POV
Waking up next to Jay made me feel safe. I haven't drank since Jay found me at Bunny's bar. Being with him made me have no need to drink.... I just fell back to sleep with Jay's alarm for work went off.
Jay's POV
Ugghhh the alarm. The awful sound that made me get up. As I layed there I felt something hit me.
E: *As I rolled over, I grap a book and hit Jay with it* Jay, get up!
J: Owww!.... Good morning to you two.
E: Good morning, now get up or turn your alarm off.
J: *Rolls out of bed and turns alarm off* Someone's not a morning person. But you didn't have to hit me.
E: *Smiles* Yes I did. You would of never got up.
J: *Smiles* I would have gotten up eventually.
E: Yea, eventually. And I would have to listen to the alarm until then. And just think now your early getting up and you can take your time getting ready.
J: Great! *Say sarcastically*..... Well since i'm up early, i'm going to take a shower.
E: Thank goodness, you smell *laughs*
J: Remember who's apartment you're in. *smiles and walks to the bathroom*
Jay's POV
When I got out of the shower I went to the kitchen where I saw Erin in my shirt staring into the fridge. I've miss having Erin at work. I miss the happy Erin. But I think she is getting back to her old self. At least I hope.
J: Hey, what's for breakfast.
E: That's what I was going to ask you. Did you know there's this thing called a grocery store, it's where you buy food.
J: Haha, you're so funny. But I usually just drink coffee in the morning at work, but I forget that you're here so I probably need to buy food.
E: That would be wise. I mean you wouldn't want to come home seeing me on the floor dying of starvation.
J: I guess not. I will go to the store when I get off work.
E: I can go for you. I mean, I'm here all day alone. Pluse, I think it will be good to get out and get some fresh air.
J: Are you sure, you will be okay going out alone. You could go with me after work if you want to get out so bad
E: No, I promise I will be fine. Its time for me to get out either way.
J: Okay, just promise me you will call me if you have any trouble.
E: Okay Okay I promise *smiles*
J: You're just going to the store and right back here, right?
E: Yes, but do you mind if I stay here awhile. I just don't want to be alone in my apartment. And I don't want to be at Voight's because he will want me to talk about everything and..
J: Don't mention it, stay as long as you need.
E: *grins* Thanks
J: Well, I will have my phone on me if you need anything, but I have to go to work so see you when I get off?
E: Okay, see you later. *Watch Jay walk out the door*

Jay's POV
*Jay's at work*
Today, Voight assigned Burgess to be my partner, because well he hasn't seen Erin in weeks. He knows I talk to her every day and I tell him how's she's doing and stuff. But, Erin is just not ready to see Voight again, so I'm not going to pressure her. He's just glad she's not seeing Bunny anymore.
*In car with Burgess*
B: How's Erin doing??
J: What do you mean?
B: Jay you don't have to hide it from me, everyone knows you're taking care of Erin. You're just way to calm not to be seeing her everyday.
J: What do you know??
B: Jay, you and Erin have been partners forever and y'all are way to close for you not to be seeing her and helping her out. So, how's Erin doing?
J: Well, I think she's doing good. I'm just not sure if she's 100% better. I don't think she will ever be 100% better. She lost a friend and she thinks its her fault. But, she is starting to act more like the happy and smart ass Erin.
B: *Laughs* Well that's a plus. When's the last time you saw her? *grins*
J: Well... Ummm, actually I saw her this morning. She is staying with me, because she just doesn't want to be alone right now, and she doesn't need to be.
B: Ohh well, that's good. If y'all need anything just ask. Me and Ruzek will be glad to pitch in. Okay?
J: Thanks, it means a lot... Speaking of, how's the wedding plans going. Have we set a date yet.
B: No we have not set a date yet but we have gotten a little planning done. We've just been so busy lately.
J: Yea, but everything will work out!*half smiles*

*Back at the destrict and Jay gets a text...*
Erin: Hey,I'm heading to the store. But, first I'm going to go to my apartment to get some clothes.
Jay: Okay. Not busy here at work today so call if needed.
Erin: K.

Erin's POV
It felt good being outside, able to feel the wind blowing through my hair and the sun beaming on my skin. Going up to my apartment got me thinking about when Nadia first came over. We were on the elevator and she started talking about how one day she wants her own apartment in the same building as me. Thinking about Nadia, I started to cry. I couldn't help it, she was my friend. I told her everything! And now she's gone.
*Elevator door opens and Erin wipes her tears away*
Landon: Hey Erin! I've been waiting for you. I thought you would be back eventually
E: Landon, what are you doing here??
L: We can talk later. Let's go in! Open the door!
E: No, I'm not getting drunk with you! Go home!
L: It's okay, we don't have to go in the apartment. We can drink out here, then we can go in.
E: No! Leave, Go home! Why are you even here.
L: Erin, I've missed you. I haven't seen you in forever.
*Tries to pull Erin to him, Erin pushed him away*
E: And the only reason you saw me then is because you got me drunk!
L: And, you had fun! So let's go inside!
E: Okay, whatever. But I'm just here to get clothes. We are leaving as soon as I get clothes.
*Both walks in*
*Erin gathers clothes as Landon sits on the couch*
E: Okay, let's go.. Get up!
L: Come on, the party just started!
E: Landon, I told you we we're leaving once I got my clothes.
L: Just one beer, okay?
E: Only one! Then we leave!
L: Deal! *grins*
