Authors Note: I figured it was time to bring in some other characters, so now you get to meet some of Sienna's friends. Yay.. I think the chapters are getting longer :D. Also, I've been really into acoustic covers of songs recently. You should check them out.
Dedicated to @Potoulaganas because you wanted to read it and you were very encouraging. Remember we have a deal you still have to write your story.
On the walk home, I was listening to music. smiling, and feeling pretty great about myself. I was sure that if anyone walked by me, they would think I was crazy, with how big I was smiling.
I walked up to my room, and was bombarded with a shit ton of snapchats, and messages. I unlocked my phone. Of course all the messages were coming from the group chat between me and my some of my friends.
Honestly, group chats pissed me the hell off. I mean, constantly at night I had to turn off the ringer of my phone just so I could try to go to bed. Another thing I didn't particularly like about texting was the fact that reading text off a screen was impersonal, and it was easy to interpret the intention of the text in a mean way.
I'd sure gotten into my fair share of text fights because of that. Instead of texting, I much preferred calling, or skyping.
Since it seemed like all 3 of my friends were on their phones, I would rather skype them.
I logged onto my skype, and went onto the group call.
Tori, Sam and Olivia were all on the call already, and I felt a wave of happiness looking at them.
Each one of my friends were different, and special.
Tori was the most like me, which was why we fought a lot. We were both very stubborn, and tended to lose our tempers easily. But we always ended up making up from every single fight we ever had. And for that, I was glad. She was extremely good at keeping promises and secrets. She was also like me in the sense that she wasn't all warm and fuzzy all the time, but trust me, when I was really upset, she usually knew what to say to make me feel better. Since we were so similar, she could usually read my mind. I remember going to her house, and taking a thousand selfies on photobooth on my laptop. I also remember spitting water all over the fries (because I was laughing so hard) at her house. We had memories where I laughed so hard I thought I was going to piss myself. A tradition we still follow to this day is straightening our hair together and talking about stuff. Even just talking about mundane topics was interesting when I talked about them with her.
Sam was extremely social. She liked talking to everyone, which was how we met. I remember the first day of 7th Grade, we bonded over nail polish. She liked giving hugs, and was a really good shopping buddy. I remember going to her house and going in her pool. She didn't judge me even though I had to use pool noodles because I couldn't swim. After, we sat on the sun recliners and had a big bag of Cheetos. She's the friend I talk to about crazy ideas I have, or crazy things I want to do when I get older. We plan to travel together when we are older. Whenever I needed a hug, I knew she was the person to go to. We hardly ever even argue (maybe like twice). We have extremely similar humour (maybe a by product of being on tumblr all the time), and we always laughed at each other's jokes. In the last year, we got really close, and I'm so happy we got to know each other much better this year.
Olivia was the understanding friend. She was more mature than the rest of us. Usually, when one of us got into an argument, she never picked sides, and always tried to be in the middle, and sort everything out. She was the friend I trusted with all my secrets. She was also the friend that I never argued with. To be honest, she never really argued with any one. She had a very agreeable personality. Some of the best memories I had with Olivia were in Badminton class (I am not athletic, but it was fun anyways). We would goof off and pretty much act high the whole class, and it made something I hated (sports) into something fun, that I enjoyed. We met in 7th grade, when we were both new to the school. She was the first person I ever talked to when I moved schools, and I still remember how shy I was back then. I'm glad I've had her to go through all the struggles of trying to figure out where to fit in.
