I almost ran straight into Harry when we left the Great Hall, and I'm pretty sure I turned into a tomato. I'm currently trying to follow Draco who's showing me the way to the Slytherin dorms, but he got ahead and I can't see him over the crowd of people. I decided to try to find the crowd of silver and green, and thankfully found them. I followed the sea of green all the way to a blank dungeon wall.

Then I spotted Draco, and pushed through the crowd to get to him. "I thought you had gotten lost, Rosalynn"

"I did for a minute then followed the crowd of green and silver colours, and they led me here. Is this the Slytherin, uhhh" I broke off.

"Common room? This is the passage." He finished for me and grinned. "In order to get in, you have to have the password. If you didn't already know, it's pureblood."

As soon as Draco said that, the wall's bricks began to rearrange, leaving a passage to the common room. I stood and in awe as he watched me, waiting for a response.

"W-wow," I said.

Draco looked at me a little suspiciously again. "You seem to still know so little about wizardry, are you sure that you're wizard-born?"

"U-uh," I said, a cold nervous sweat dripping down my neck. "A-actually.. I-I'm o-orphaned.. I-I don't k-know.."

Draco just looks at me without saying anything. I stare at him nervously. He finally says something. "You must be pure-blood... the sorting hat put you in Slytherin, and almost all true Slytherins are pure-blooded."

I feel a little relieved. Draco seems to dislike impure-blooded wizards, and he seems to think that I must be pure. Draco nodded his head to the entrance to the Slytherin common room and pulled me inside. I took in my surroundings. On the far wall, there was a fireplace with a couple of couches around it. To the sides there were staircases moving upwards, into where I assume are dormitories.

"Are those the stairs to the dormitories?" I asked Draco.

"Oh yes, that way leads up to the girls." He said pointing to one of the staircases.

"Your bags should be upstairs, I guess I'll see you in the morning."

"Ok, thank you, I'll see you in the morning, good night." I called to him before going up the stairs to my dormitory. When I entered the dormitory, I was expecting it to be dark and gloomy, but to my surprise the walls were a light green that really accented the deep grey bedspreads. There were yellow tinted lamps in the rooms too which made it seem brighter and more welcoming. I quickly noticed which bed was mine, seeing the small amount of items I had brought on the train with me. I started unpacking my things when a girl walked in. "Hello!" I said, trying to start some friendly conversation.

"Who are you?! And why are you in my dormitory?" She replied rudely.

"Oh well, you see, at Hogwarts we erm share the dormitories." I said, attempting to disrupt the tension.

"Oh well I still want to know your name!" she said persistently. "Oh um yes, my name is Rosalynn Evermoor. Yours?" I said, answering her question. "My name is Briar, Briar Black." she said in what now seemed to be a better mood. "Sorry. I just don't trust people I can't identify," Briar admitted, "I'm just a bit tense."

"I get it. I'm super nervous around new people." I responded sympathetically. I had expected the people in Slytherin house to be mean. On the train Harry had given a small explanation of each house and he said Slytherin was the worst. I am wondering whether to trust Harry. Draco certainly seemed not to, and I think I should trust Draco. He's in my house, and not gonna lie, he's just.. cute.
