(Tw: Cold Feet, Powerful Ending.)
We walk through the hallway, ignoring any further pleads from the Narrator about turning around or leaving the bucket. We reach a huge warehouse. "They were so awful at following detections it's a miracle they haven't been fired years ago." Said the Narrator. Another forced line of his. I follow Stanley onto a platform. When we stepped on it, it started moving.
The Narrator starts to say something about us trusting him but then Stanley jumps of onto a pallet. He turns around and gestures for me to jump as well. I try to jump, but miss the pallet and fall straight to my death. My vision goes black but it's not a reset, not yet.
"But in her eagerness to prove that she is in control of the story and no one gets to tell her what to do, Mariella leapt from the platform and plunged to her death. Good job, Mariella. Everyone thinks you are very powerful." I hear the Narrator say slyly. It sounds like another forced line but he sound like he truly enjoyed watching me plunge to my death. Then another reset.
Once we make it back to the warehouse again Stanley stepped onto the platform. Before I could step on it, it started moving away. Stanley looks back at me with a pained expression.
"Oh come on you did that on purpose!" I yelled at nothing. "Oh wow, look who's got cold feet!" Said the Narrator enjoying my suffering. "Sorry to break it to you Mariella, but that lift isn't coming back. You'd best either get comfortable right here on this platform or test your luck by jumping to the floor below."I look over to Stanley on the lift who still has the pained expression. He clearly knew it was going to happen. But I'm not jumping off again, it hurt. I don't feel the pain anymore but just the memory of it is enough. "You know what, looking at it now, it's not that far to the bottom floor. I bet you can make it." The Narrator said. He sounds malicious. "You know I couldn't make it and live! You just want to see me die again!" I made my point clear.
"Come on, It's not a big deal! That's not the Mariella I know. Do it! DO IT! Do it do it do it do it!" He said. "I am not jumping to my death I'm not stupid!" I say. "Listen the Mariella I know would try to prove me wrong. I said you could make it, you said you couldn't. Prove yourself right. Stick it to the system!" He said encouraging me to jump off. I look over to Stanley. He's probably waiting for me to hurry up and cause the reset. I run back then leap off the platform. And quickly meet my demise.
"Oops, how clumsy of me. looks like I was wrong. Congratulations Mariella you were right." Then a reset.
