General POV

The screen opens to Tai's study as he gave his report to Ozpin.

Ozpin: "Interdimensional fighter pilots with planes that are beyond our current list of aircraft's abilities." he recapped, "From a whole other country whose basic premise is to fight for freedom?"

Taiyang: "Yup, they're passionate about it too. The girls love 'em already and I honestly can't blame em." he replied.

Ozpin hummed in thought.

Ozpin: "Can you bring them in?" he asked.

Taiyang: "Yes I can sir, but why?" he replied.

Ozpin: "So I know who we are dealing with." he answered, "And to see how we can help them."

Tai nodded and opened the door, Andy and Ruby were goofing around with the oven and a trombone in the kitchen with Zwei barking on the ground while Alex and Yang laughed on the sidelines the latter of whom were...uncomfortably close for Tai while the former seemed to be more friends than anything....didn't mean Tai let his guard down since Andy was also getting too close to his youngest daughter for his liking.

Taiyang: "Ahem! Um, I need Alex and Andy to come with me please." he said, clearing his throat.

Yang: "Dad, don't scare them away, we're starting to like em." she teased.

Alex: "And we're starting to like you guys too." he teased back.

Alex+Yang: "Right kweebs/Rubes?" they continued, turning to their younger siblings. (The former by technicality)

Andy: "You creeped out by this?" he questioned, putting down the trombone.

Ruby: "Very." she replied, closing the oven softly and grabbing Zwei the Corgi.

Andy: "Well, I'll go see what Ozpin wants, also, I'll put on some tunes." he said, flipping through Spotify.

Andy then clicked 'Top Gun Anthem' from 'Top Gun: Maverick OST' which started playing before he left into Tai's study where, upon seeing Ozpin, Andy and Alex snapped to attention.

Ozpin: "At ease you 2." he said, the Fighter Pilots relaxing their stance, "Tai has told me of your...predicament, I assure you, I shall do everything in my power to get you both back to where you came from."

Andy: "Thank you sir." he replied.

Alex: "Thank you, but if you don't mind my asking, what's your plan to do that?" he asked.

Ozpin: "Atlesian Scientists are studying phenomena over Vale, they believe if we can find the source of your portal we can replicate it in our own cruder form." he replied.

Alex nodded, satisfied.

Andy: "What of our planes sir? They're wrecked." he asked next, "We don't have the proper resources to resupply or repair them at the moment."

Ozpin: "I shall have a recovery team sent out to recover your planes, Tai has granted permission to use his front lawn for a temporary...hangar to conduct repairs on your air frames." he replied, "They'll arrive tomorrow."

Andy nodded.

Ozpin: "Tools and any necessary tech shall be sent if you ask, so don't hesitate." he said.
