General POV

The day after Andy's and Ruby's dogfight with the White Fang was the time for Beacon Academy's semester to restart. Thus the group got ready for the move with Ruby and Yang getting their weapons back, with Andy and Alex getting the same treatment.

Ruby: "Oh I am never leaving you again!" she yelled, hugging Crescent Rose.

Andy: "Hey, wanna inspect my weapons?" he asked, holding out his pistol.

Ruby: "DOIEVER?!?!" she yelled in her tongue, grabbing the pistol.

Andy chuckled, Ruby was absolutely adorable sometimes. Yang and Alex were on the sidelines, already getting the teases primed.

Taiyang: "Glynda, it's happening, both my girls are getting ready to leave the nest." he cried in his study.

Glynda: "There there Tai, it was bound to happen eventually." she soothed.

Taiyang: "But I didn't want it to happen...." he whimpered.

Glynda could only sympathize with him, she didn't exactly have a child to speak of so she was unable to really relate with him but she tried her best.

Glynda: "There there Tai. At least those boys are decent." she said.

Taiyang: "Oh I agree Andy is, his innocence is gone but he knows how to keep it in his pants, Alex though....honestly he's been really  forward with Yang and it's started to get me concerned." he explained.

Outside Tai heard Andy showing Ruby a movie, he heard something about Magic and Friendship and the sound of Alex banging his head on a wall.

Ruby: "If you don't like it we can change it." she said, concerned.

Andy: "Nah, I got used to this show since I live with more girls than I do boys so at one point this is the only thing they talked about." he explained, "It's fine, I can take it."

Ruby seemingly took his word for it and continued watching.

Taiyang: "Did I mention how considerate the guy can be?" he asked, "I mean even if he doesn't like something he just half-watches it off to the side asking questions every now and then, Alex would shout expletives and walk away."

Glynda: "He's probably an ok kid Tai," she said, "just know where to draw the line."

An hour later, in the living room, Ruby and Andy were bonding over a TV show about talking trains from the 80's while Yang tried to keep Alex from leaving to do anything else.

Andy: "-so yeah before I hopped onto Wattpad I was a weird kid." he sheepishly finished.

Ruby: "Hey, everyone's weird in their own rights." she pointed out with a chuckle.

Andy: "I know, so how's the show so far?" he asked.

Ruby: "It's neat, and the music is so goo- OH NO HENRY!!" she yelled.

Andy: "Oh right, this is the Flying Kipper episode." he winced.

A few episodes later Ruby was hugging Andy terrified of a ghost engine....even though it wasn't real. Andy blushed, this being the first contact with a girl his age in a while, and hugged her back. Suffice to say when Andy and Ruby woke up cuddling each other they didn't exactly mind....but Tai did.

Taiyang: "...she's growing up so quickly..." he sniffled, petting Zwei.

Zwei simply barked.

Andy: "Ok, time to get ready for the day, you can gush about our stuff when we get to Beacon in one piece." he offered, heading off to put on his armor.
