Neteyams pov -
I woke up later, and I wasn't in the forest anymore? I looked around and saw that I was in my room at my house.
I went to walk around, but no one was home. I checked everywhere, but there was no one. I assumed they were all busy getting ready for the party.
Aonung was probably busy, too. It was about twenty minutes before the party. I didn't know what to do, so I decided to go around the village and look for my friends and family.
I found Kiri and Tuk collecting some shells. I quickly walked over to them. "Neteyam!" Tuk said excitedly. Kiri rolled her eyes at me.
"What's up with you?" I questioned her as i helped them collect shells.
"What's up with me?" She scoffed. "I should be asking what's up with you!"
"Wha..." I was so confused. "Tuk go to mom and dad. They said they needed you for something."
Tuk nods and runs off with the seashells.
"What is up with you and Aonung, Neteyam?" She asked.
"Nothing... we are just close friends." I breathed out.
"No, no, don't give me that."We are just close friends.." She mimicked. "I know you like him. So, I think you should tell him.."
"No!" I shouted. "He won't feel the same.."
"I highly doubt that. But whatever, let's get ready for the party." She sighs.

My whole family was ready for the party. However, I was not ready. Not mentally ready, that is.
Kiri is gonna be pushing me to talk to Aonung and to tell him how I feel. So is our whole friend group for that matter!
As soon as we got to the party, I ran over to grab a drink. I chugged it down and grabbed another. I walked back to my friend group, who was currently talking about the sleepover we would have after the party.
"There he is!" Tsireya says excitedly. "We were just talking about the sleepover. Come on!"
I sat down next to everyone. I took a sip out of my drink. Eventually, my drink was gone.
I had one more cup... and then another... and another.. at some point, I lost track and was completely out of it.
"Woah, Neteyam, you good?" My baby brother asked.
"Mhmmm..." I say as we all stand up to head to the sleepover hut. The party was ending, and I had way too much to drink.
I started walking and tripped and fell into someone's back. I looked up to see Aonungs head turning to look at me.
"Are you alright, Neteyam?" He questions.
"Yeah..." I slurred.
"I don't think you can walk..." He sighs. "Why don't you hop on my back?"
"No thankkks.." I giggled.
"Alright... at least let me hold your hand or something.." He suggests. I nodded. He took my hand and helped me walk to the sleepover hut.
We both walked in, and everyone looked over. "What took you guys so long?" Roxto questioned.
"Neteyam, here, is drunker than my dad when he found out Mother was pregnant again!" Aonung cackled as Tsireya laughed along.
"No, I am not!" I slurred.
"Sure you aren't big, bro.." My brother giggles. I side eyed him and stumbled over to the hammock where I soon fell into a deep sleep.

Aonungs pov -
I watched as Neteyam stumbled over to bed.
"He's in for a bad hangover tomorrow!" Tsireya and Kiri giggles.
I just sighed as I walked over and laid in the hammock next to him.. what made him get so drunk?
I asked myself this question until I drifted off to sleep..
