5 - Lunch

The time was noon, and lunch break was about to start.
Since Mitsumi's best friends, Shio and Kana, usually eat lunch with their boyfriends, Mitsumi was left all alone.
Mitsumi turned around to open up her bag, trying to grab her lunch box, when suddenly, Izumi walked towards her.

"Hey, Mi-chan. Do you want to eat lunch together?" Izumi asked Mitsumi while holding his own lunch box in his hand.

Mitsumi looked at Izumi's face for a while and smiled. "Alright. But let's not eat here. There's too much people." Mitsumi said shyly.

"Okay! So, where do you want to go, Mi-chan? Wanna go to the rooftop?" Izumi asked her with excitement.

"Anywhere is fine. By the way, why are you so excited?" Mitsumi asked him with a confused face.

"Isn't it obvious? I'm going to eat lunch together with my cute girlfriend at school, so why wouldn't I get excited?" Izumi said as he looked at Mitsumi with a gentle expression.

Mitsumi's face turned red after hearing him. She covered her face with her lunch box with embarrassment.
"I'm your.. c-cute.. g-girlfriend.." Mitsumi muttered quietly to herself, however, Izumi heard her.

"Ofcourse you are cute. Having a girlfriend like you makes me feel like I can die without regrets." Izumi replied to Mitsumi's muttering.

"W-whaa~" Hearing Izumi call her cute over and over again made Mitsumi's face even redder.

"E-enough! Let's leave now already. We're running out of time." Mitsumi said shyly as she grabbed Izumi's hand and dragged him away from the room.
Once they're out, Mitsumi realized that she was holding Izumi's hand. She tried to let him go, but Izumi stopped her with his other hand.

"It's okay. I want to hold hands with you, Mi-chan. We haven't seen each other for just a day, but I already missed you so much." Izumi said as he gently touched Mitsumi's silky smooth hand.

Mitsumi's face turned red all the way to her ears as she felt Izumi's warm hand touching her. She then also took his hands and said with a cute smile. "Yeah, I missed you too."

(What a beautiful smile.) Izumi thought as he watch Mitsumi smiling at him.

After that, the two of them continued walking. They found a nice spot in a certain bench at the back of the school. It was a remote area, so not many students can be seen.

After finding a clean bench, Izumi and Mitsumi moved towards it and sat down next to each other.

Both of them then brought out their lunch boxes and started opening them.

Izumi's lunch has rice in it, as well as a sunny side up fried eggs.

Meanwhile, Mitsumi also has a rice in it, as well as a fried meat.

Both of them also brought their own drinks. Izumi and Mitsumi both have a chocolate milk that can be bought in a convenience store.

"Woah, that meat looks delicious, Mi-chan. And we both have the same drink. I guess we have the same tastes in some things. haha" Izumi said with a smile.

"Yeah, yours looks delicious too." Mitsumi replied. Then, she grabbed her chopsticks and scooped a rice and a meat from her lunch box. She then pointed the chopsticks with rice and meat on it towards Izumi's direction.

"Y-you said my lunch looks delicious, right? Then, here. e-eat this, now say 'Ah~'" Mitsumi said with a little stutter shyly. Her ears turning red.

Izumi smiled gently as he watch Mitsumi's action. He then moved closer to her hand and opened his mouth. "Ah~"

Mitsumi placed the chopsticks inside Izumi's mouth. Izumi then started eating the food and after a while, he smiled.

"H-how was it?" Mitsumi asked nervously as she looked at Izumi's face.

"It was delicious! Did you made this, Mi-chan?" Izumi asked enthusiastically.

"Yup." Mitsumi said with a short reply.

"You will be a good wife in the future, Mi-chan." Izumi said with a gentle expression.

"W-w-wife!?"

Meanwhile, Mitsumi was so flustered by what Izumi had said. After hearing him, Mitsumi subconsciously fantasized a day where Izumi and her were a married couple. Where the two of them later have children. And once Mitsumi fantasized Izumi and her making a child in a dark room...

(Noo! Stop! Please stop, my brain! Lewd stuff are not allowed, so stop!) Mitsumi thought in the back of her mind as she blushed.

While Mitsumi was inside her fantasies, Izumi wondered why she was in a daze.
"Phew~" so Izumi got closer to Mitsumi's face and blow a small gust of wind on her reddened ears.

"Kyaa~!" Mitsumi was brought back to her senses with surprise. She then found Izumi smiling close to her face.

"That was a cute reaction, Mi-chan. I would never get tired of seeing you like this." Izumi said gently as he smiles at her.

"Geez, please stop teasing me. You've been always doing that ever since we started dating." Mitsumi said as she puffed her cute little cheeks, pouting.

"That pout of yours is adorable too." Izumi said as he quickly grabbed his phone and took a picture of Mitsumi's pouting face before she could even react.

"Wha!? S-stop suddenly taking pictures of me!" Mitsumi protested in a loud voice while her face was beet red.

"But you're so cute, I couldn't help it. See?" Izumi said as he showed Mitsumi her cute picture.

"Don't show it to me! It's embarrassing!"

After finishing their lunch, Mitsumi said that she will head straight to the classroom first, so Izumi walked towards the school cafeteria to buy some dessert.

"Yo! Izumi!" As Izumi continued walking, he heard someone greeting him and at the same time, he felt an impact on his back.

"What are you doing here, Reiji?" Izumi asked nonchalantly.

The person who called out on Izumi was one of his best friends, Honda Reiji. He is also Katsura Kana's boyfriend. And in case you forgot, Katsura Kana is Mitsumi's best friend.

"I just saw the lonely Izumi walking alone, so I thought I could atleast accompany him. Haha" Reiji said teasingly.

"And why would you think that I am lonely?" Izumi asked.

"Well, out of the three of us, only you don't have a girlfriend yet, you know." Reiji replied.

"Fufufu.." Izumi chuckled after hearing what his best friend said.

"Hey! What are you laughing at?" Reiji asked, noticing Izumi's chuckle.

"Nothing, nothing. How about you? Where's your girlfriend." Izumi asked with a faint smile.

"She said she'll head to the classroom first." Reiji replied.

"Oh? So in other words, you were lonely since your girlfriend left you, and you came to find me to erase your loneliness?" Izumi asked with a teasing grin.

"Wha!? No, ofcourse not!" Reiji protested.

Izumi continued to grin teasingly as he watch his best friend.
