7 - The Mark

After that small incident, everything was normal. Izumi spent the whole day in class without a problem.

A chime can be heard in the room, signaling the end of classes.

Hearing this, Izumi got up of his seat and went straight towards the door.

As he walked in the corridor, he suddenly felt somewhat thirsty, so he made a detour and went towards the back of the school.

Izumi went there because the back of the school is where the closest vending machine is located.
After arriving, Izumi chose a drink that he like as he inserted money to the vending machine.

After a few moments, Izumi grabbed his drink and decided to leave, when suddenly, he heard voices near him.

Since he has nothing else to do, Izumi went towards the source of the voice. But when he saw what was happening, he immediately hid behind the wall. But although he was hiding, he was still observing the situation.

What was in his field of vision was his younger sister, Nikaido Yuuna. And standing before Yunna was a somewhat handsome first year high school boy. And from the looks of it, it seems like he is confessing his love towards Yuuna.

"Yuuna, I love you. Please go out with me." The somewhat handsome boy said with a smile.

"So-sorry, I can't go out with you." Yuuna replied with a stutter, averting her eyes.

(Woah, this is the first time I see that sister of mine becoming meek and timid.) Izumi thought in his mind as he watch them.

"Why!? I'm handsome! My grades are high! We are a perfect match!" the somewhat handsome boy protested as he grabbed both of Yuuna's shoulders, a creepy smile appearing on his face.

(Wow, this is the first time I'm seeing a somewhat handsome but creepy obsessive guy with a personality similar to a stalker in real life! I thought someone like him would only exist in novels or mangas.) Izumi thought, his eyes wide open.

"S-stop..! You're hurting me..!" Yunna said with a pained expression.

"No... not until you agree to go out with me.." the somewhat handsome but creepy boy said in a very creepy tone.

(What the heck. that's creepy, dude, stop it. Oh wait, isn't this situation going in a really bad direction?) As Izumi thought that, he showed himself from the two of them.

"Hey, hey.. Why are you two so loud? I can't concentrate to buy my chocolate milk at the vending machine over there if you're making this much noise!" Izumi said in a very irritated tone as he sip his chocolate milk that he bought in the vending machine.

"B-big brothe... Izumi.." Yuuna whispered quietly.

"And you, that creepy dude over there. Yuuna clearly said that she doesn't like you, so get the heck out of here." Izumi said, not bothered to look at Yuuna at all.

(Uhh~ this is so troublesome! Why do I have to save this girl!? She causes nothing but trouble! If she's not my sister, I wouldn't even bother saving someone like her.." Izumi thought with a deep sigh.

"You! Who are you!? Don't interfere!" the creepy boy said in a loud voice.

"Me? Well, I'm that girl's brother." Izumi said as he pointed his hands at Yuuna.

"You liar! Yuuna said she only has Yuu as her brother!" The creepy boy said with a trace of ridicule.

"Wha-!" Yuuna was flustered when she heard the creepy boy.

(What the f*ck. Judging from her reaction, what that creep said must be true. That's just going too far. Nah, I'm out of here. I'm not her "brother" anyway. She said it herself.) Izumi thought with a frown on his face.
