The land of Aulitia was a sprawling, mountainous country, one of the largest in the Southern Hemisphere. Once known for being the safest land, full of peaceful cities and kingdoms, Aulitia was said to be blessed by the Elven Gods, who watched over each and every citizen, regardless of race. This inspired many migrations to the blessed land, wherein creatures of all races came to settle in the beautiful, green landscape where the Gods kissed the earth and gave their love through the rays of the sun.

The capital city of Aulitia, Aulta, was ruled by a kind but lonely king, Tsar Fredrick, who practiced peace, allowing pilgrims of all races to live within his city walls, to create small villages on the mountains or near the rivers bordering neighbouring kingdoms.

Tsar Fredrick's kindness was noticed by his Gods, and rewarded by the Elven god of giving, Sukei. She granted Tsar Fredrick two elven-born sons of both royal and godly blood- Feliks and Dimitri Petrovich, both elven and human demi-god heirs to the throne of Aulta.

Both boys were born with godly powers- Dimitri was blessed with the strength of one thousand Orcish warriors, and Feliks born with a golden heart which could heal and warm even the coldest of the dead. The Tsar raised his two Tsarevich sons to the age of seven, giving the country hope that two Godly rulers would be the kindest and bravest of all, leading their country to peace.

However, through all of this, set on a backdrop of barren, crowded land, a war raged on in a neighbouring country, the dark and dreary land of Olos, where a civil war between the leaders and its citizens wrought the country. The land of Olos was ruled by the orcish demon, Vorig Sponik, who refused to share his large amount of power and land with his hungry, overcrowded citizens. As they became wilder and angrier, Vorig found a new way to solve the problem of his citizens- find a land rich with Godly magic, and take it for he and his citizens to live in the lush green lands, where the crops grew bountiful and the sun shone through even the wettest days.

Knowing that the Tsar of the Aulitian capital had been blessed with two demi-god sons, the demon Vorig set out first to kill the heirs to the throne, taking their God-given power into his own hands. However, when he and his people arrived in the dead of night to attack, the boys were stronger than he could have thought- particularly the first-born son, Dimitri.

Tsarevich Feliks was easy to weaken. Using his demonic power, the orc Vorig stole the golden heart of the second-born Tsarevich, crumpling him to a greying heap on the ground, all of his mother's powers drained from him. Angry, the strongest son attacked, and despite all of his best efforts, Vorig could not extract the strength of his own people from this boy. Instead, he and his people took the heir, taking him back to their homeland, Olos, and trapping him there for the rest of his life.

Soon after the disappearance of the heir to the Aultan throne, Aulitia was attacked by an army of Orcs, who stormed village after village, taking each one for their own. They stormed Aulta's neighbouring kingdom, driving a Tsar and Grand Duchess out of their palace. Vorig ruled a city in Aulitia, and it was rumoured that he would soon storm the capital, taking the entire land for his own- enslaving its people and stealing its God-given magic.

Aulta and its exiled neighbouring kingdom conjoined their armies, waging a war on Olos, in both their own country and overseas. The war raged on, disrupting the peace of the beautiful, God-given land, destroying its luscious trees and decaying its magic. The only hope that the citizens of Aulitia had was that the elven Tsar and Tsarevna of the exiled kingdom were still alive and well- along with Tsar Fredrick, and his son, Tsarevich Feliks.

However, the once Demi-god son was hidden from the people Aulitia for a decade.

The hope of his people was dying, along with him.

After being robbed of his golden heart, the boy became sickly. While still half-elven, he lost his strength and powers, becoming a shell of what he once was. According to the best healers of Aulta, the boy's heart was weak, and the only way to heal him was to restore the magic of the land, giving him health in all its bounty once again.

However, a decade passed, and the boy did not recover. Good men of all difference races were sent out onto the battlefields, risking their lives and magic, and still, nothing could overcome Vorig and his army. Giving up on the second-born son, the Aulitian people began to spin legends, sing songs, weave tapestries, of the boy who would save them all. The boy who even Vorig Sponik could not stifle. Tsarevich Dimitri of Aulta.

As Vorig and his men began to close in on the Capital, threatening the Tsar's throne and the Gods gift of giving upon him, the people called upon a hero to return their saviour, the Lost Tsarevich. And desperate to save his home and his people, a sickly recluse with a damaged heart stepped forward, desperate to return peace to his country once again.

Despite his heart no longer being golden, it was missing something which could be found once again.

A brother.
