(I recommend listening to song throughout the chapter. I feel it kinda fits along, not to mention it's one of my favorite songs. What's your favorite song?)

"Yes... yes! A thousand times yes!"

Those words and scene rung in Tanjiro's head as he stood by the alter on the beach, awaiting for your arrival.

It'd been almost four years since all the demon slayers had gifted him and you the wonderful house. Nothing could've gone better for both you and Yui.

After moving in, you both had taken in some sheep and you made fabric and clothing just as your mother did in the past. It was a trade, and you'd make trips to the town to sell it. And since Tanjiro had always liked to mention how well of a singer you are, you'd taken to trying to write your very own songs and try to publish them.

Tanjiro had decided to become a trainer for children into caring for swords as well as how to defend themselves against people who'd threaten them. It was a good job, both of you were paid well and have never thrived any better.

Yui had been homeschooled, with the help of Shinobu. She had also taken into teaching her all about medicines. Even though Yui had some training with a sword, she'd taken into the thought of medicine and helping people another way.

The scene of you staring in complete shock along the shoreline at the magnificent ring he held and kneeled down with. Your tears he remembered looked like diamonds in the rays of the sunshine that afternoon.

The amount of happiness he felt was astronomical, he'd never felt something like that in... well—ever!

He swept you off your feet and twirled you around as your giggles erupted in the air. And your soft lips that day, the softest he'd ever felt them in his life. You were perfect. And him being able to actually marry you now made him feel so very special.

It's okay... don't be nervous... why the hell are you anyways? Tanjiro thought, almost sweating. Why should I be? She loves me... right?

Someone poked his arm with their elbow. He turned to find it was Genya, he hadn't really changed at all since the fight. Still that same ol', long mullet he remembered.

"Don't be nervous Tanjiro, she likes you a lot." He said, easing Tanjiro's mind slightly. "Everyone knows it."

He nodded and gifted Genya a warm smile with gratitude. Staring back down at the firmed aisle.

- Meanwhile -

Stop being so nervous! He loves you! He does! If he didn't, he wouldn't ask to marry you. So why are you?!

"There!" Mitsuri grinned and stepped back from doing her marvelous work for your hair. It was just they way you imagined your hair on your wedding day.

You really were going to get married today. It never really hit you until now, it was so exciting but nerve-racking at the same time.
