The smell of the ocean flew through the open window as the white curtains danced along with natures winds. The gentle crashing of waves beginning to wake after a calm night, was able to stir you awake from your sleep.

Your eyes began to flutter open like a butterfly's wings. Opening to find yourself lying in your bed in your own home. You smiled to yourself and stretched lightly.

At your right side, you turned to find your burgundy haired husband lying sideways next to you and beginning to open his eyes as well. You grinned as turned to your right side to face him. Folding your arm under your head and gazing into the shining orbs of his.

"Good morning." You whispered.

He scooted closer and pecked your lips. "Good morning, love."

He moved his hand to rub your arm. "Sleep alright?"

"Yeah, better than I have for a while now." You said. "Not as many kicks last night."

Tanjiro chuckled lightly. "Well, maybe it's tired from kicking you all the time."

He moved his calloused hand to come over your belly as it had been growing bigger and bigger from the life inside.

"And I can't wait to meet you my little sunshine." Tanjiro smiled down as if your baby could hear from inside.

"About three more months left until we can meet him or her." You started. "I can't believe it's been six months already since the wedding."

"Me neither." Tanjiro responded, continuing to stroke your belly to soothe you. "Is Shinobu stopping over today?"

"Yeah, at least every couple of weeks to make sure it's okay."

Tanjiro nodded, feeling excited for him to be able to meet his child.

His child. Even six months later after finding out that you were going to be carrying his and your child, he was overjoyed. He was going to be a father, a father.

"Whatcha thinking about?" You asked, tilting your head slightly.

"I still can't believe we are having a child of our own. I'm gonna be a father, and you a mother." He smiled to himself and looking up into your own orbs. "I can't wait to meet our baby."

You rested your soft palm against his cheek and kissed his lips gently. Making his heart soar like a dove and heart explode like fireworks on days of festivals.

You broke away and rested your forehead against his. "Not to mention how excited Yui is too."

"Yep, getting to be a big sister." He giggled. "I remember finding out when I was going to be a big brother to Nezuko. That feeling of having a sibling, it was amazing. I was so happy!"

"I bet you were." You replied back. "Same with me and Hiroto."

You let your hand move gently along through his longer burgundy locks. Now they were practically as long as when you'd both finished doing the training for Final Selection back with Urokodaki. Felt like an eternity ago.
