First day of school ~starting line~

"Looks like we're early, Kageyama-kun."

After their morning jog, Mob and Teruki had headed straight to class. At this point, the only people there were a tall boy with glasses and a tall girl who was in her seat. The moment that the door opened, the boy almost jumped out of his seat, marching straight towards them.

"Hello there! I am Tenya Iida from Souhei Private Academy."

Mob was slightly taken aback from this loud introduction, but Teruki took it in stride, extending his hand to Iida.

"I'm Teruki Hanazawa from Black Vinegar Academy. This is Shigeo Kageyama from Salt middle school."

"Teruki Hanazawa and Shigeo Kageyama? You two are the ones who scored first on the entrance exam! I look forward to working with you in the future."

Each of them shook Iida's hand before Mob sat down, Teruki, on the other hand, walked up to the tall girl, extending his hand.

"So, what's your name? I don't remember seeing you anywhere at the entrance exams."

The girl looked up, a light smile appearing on her face.

"I'm Momo Yaoyorozu and I got in through recommendations. It's nice to meet you, Hanazawa."

As they shook hands, Teruki nodded to her in acknowledgement.

"It's a pleasure to meet you too, Yaoyorozu."

He introduced himself so effortlessly...

Progress to mob's explosion: 12%

"U-um, Yaoyorozu-san?"

All eyes were now on Mob as he walked up to Momo. He fidgeted with his hands, rubbing his hands together in an effort to sooth his nerves. Taking deep breaths in and out, Mob steeled himself, managing to get out:

"You say that you got in via recommendations, so... What's your quirk?"

Seeing this display and the sweat on Mob's face, Momo gave him a quick smile before holding out her hand and creating a Russian doll.

"I can create anything I know the chemical makeup of."

Mob nodded along, watching in awe at this.

"You can just make things out of nothing?"

Momo shook her head

"Not exactly. I can turn lipids in my body into other forms of matter. And you?"

"Oh, uh..."

Mob took a deep breath in and out before holding out his hand. For a moment, nothing happened until the doll started to glow before whizzing around the classroom, almost kicking up a breeze. Momo and Iida's eyes went wide as they saw this display, looking on in awe.

"I can manipulate energy. I typically stick to picking up objects and stuff, but I can also control stuff like fire and bend energy to make clones. Here, catch, Hanazawa-kun"

The doll began glowing yellow and zipping around just as fast for a few moments before finally being set down on Yaoyorozu's table.

"Yep. I'm the same as Kageyama-kun, though he's way stronger than me."

Mob sat back down in his seat, shaking his head.

"T-that's not exactly true. Hanazawa-kun trains way harder than I do, so he's more skilled than me."

Before Teruki could protest, however, they were interrupted by a boy with spiky red hair walking into the room. Immediately, Iida almost leapt out of his seat, marching up to this boy, saying:
