"Oh your very handsome mason are you and my daughter a thing?" my mom said pointing to the both of us mason looked up at me "uhh no" said mason I chuckled nervously.
"Oh what a shame y/n needs a GOOD man and not her boys that just want her for her body but doesn't want to except the tru-" I cut my mom off "ok mason let's go." I said grabbing his hand and dragging him up the stairs
"Sorry that was weird" I said in embarrassment "nah it's all good" mason said as he entered my room "wow your room is so nice" he said "thanks so uh why did you want to hang out" I said sitting down on the corner of my bed
"I just missed you so I wanted to hang out" his response made me blush "really?" I said with joy he nodded "hey what's this?" he pointed to the letter about my father's death I quickly grab the paper "it's nothing haha just a birthday invitation" I say hiding it in my drawer
"Don't lie y/n what is it?" mason said sitting beside me "I swear it's just a birthday invitation" I said my eyes started to get teary I look up at the celling making sure my tears don't fall
Mason reached into the drawer he grabbed the paper I didn't have the energy to take it out of his hands "oh y/n.." mason said he put his hand on my back "it's whatever I d- don't even care" my voice was shaky I felt his warm arms around me "it's gonna be alright I'll be here with you"
