Chapter 9

"So what do you wanna do??" I say
  "Uh.....well y/n do you like to bake??" Mason says   
   looking up at me his eyes sparkling at me.
  "I don't mind it but I'm not such a great cook" 
  "That's fine it'll be fun come on" mason says     
  grabbing my hand and running downstairs to the
  kitchen "what are you two kids doing??" My mom
  asks cleaning up the kitchen

  "We're gonna bake something" I say smiling at my
   mom "you. bake something? You haven't baked
  something since you were four. with you dad...."
  I could feel my heart get heavy mason looks at me
  "Do you still wanna bake..?" Mason asks putting his  
   hand on my back "yeah it'll be fun" I say looking at 
  mason then my mom

Mason looks at me still worried "ok well to switch things up do you wanna do a competition?" I nod "ok lovers but don't make a mess in my kitchen I just cleaned up" my mom says smirking at me. "Lovers huh?" Mason says smiling at me I hit him softly on the shoulder "your not funny" I say hiding my face
We get to baking and I'm wondering what I could bake

"Ok I'm gonna put the 30 minutes timer on ready??" He says grabbing out his phone
I nod in confidence I knew I wasn't gonna win but it was gonna be really funny to see mason bake
"3...2...1 GO" I say running to my fridge

Time skip to the timer at 15 minutes left!

I look over at masons side of the kitchen he was almost done I had to do something I pick up some flour  and throw it on mason "you lil- come here" he runs over to me and grabs flour from my side and throws it at me "10 minutes left" mason phone said we both start to laugh at the fact that we are full of flour  "your so mean now my hair is full of flour" i say still laughing
"You started it" he said getting back to his baking

Time skip to 13 seconds left on the timer

I was just finishing the final touches on my cake mason was done a long time ago so he was just sitting down and putting music on my phone "5....4...3...2...1..TIMES UPPP"
Mason got up and took his plate up we both turned around not facing each other "ok ready?" I say picking up my plate "yeah idk if I'm ready to see your pretty face full of flour though" mason says laugh at me i try not to laugh but I couldn't hold it

We both turn around and mason baked cupcakes

I baked a cake

"how cute we both used pink " mason said smiling at me "ok let's taste" I say grabbing a fork I taste masons first it was so good "woah you really know how to bake" I say teasingly

He smiles at me "here I'll get you a fork so you can-" I was cut off by mason taking my fork out of my hand and eating with it

I look at him blankly "what.?" He says eating his cake "nothing" I reply quickly turning away from him blushing he laughs

He grabs One of my cupcakes and takes a bite out of it "this is really bad but I'll eat it because you made it" I turn to him "it's not that bad" I say sarcastically offended

"Oh trust me it is" he says, his eyes slowly focused on my lips he then smiled softly

Mason wrapped his hands around my waist and pressed his lips against mine I wrap my arms around his neck
