"Oh hey Asami." Alexis says as Asami comes into the room while Korra is practicing with Bolin and Mako.

"Hey Alexis. They're doing great aren't they?" Asami asks as Asami nods before Korra, Bolin, and Mako huddle up.

"Yep." Alexis says.

"We're ready!" Korra and Bolin shout.

"Not quite. You'll need these." Asami says as she holds up fire ferret uniforms before Mako goes over and greets her before the two do an Eskimo kiss causing Alexis, Korra, and Bolin to look at them in disgust.

"Well teammates I'll see you before the match tonight. Asami and I have a lunch date." Mako says as he puts his arm around Asami and leaves.

"Okay we'll check you guys later you know. We'll see you when we see ya. So Korra. There they go. Here we are all alone in the gym. Just you and me. Two alone people. Together. Alone." Bolin says as he goes over to Korra.

"Hello. Still here." Alexis says as Bolin looks at her.

"Ah I gotta head back to the air temple to train with Tenzin. See ya!" Korra says as she leaves with Alexis.

"So how's it going with the tall, dreamy firebender boy? You've been spending a lot of time together lately." Jinora asks as she, Alexis, Ikki, and Korra are feeding some lemurs in the snow.

"Oooh yeah! Alexis you as well. You seem interested in that earthbender boy! Tell us all about the magical romance." Ikki says excitedly as she looks at Alexis and Korra.

"What? Listen to you two I-I'm not interested in Mako or any romantic stuff. Besides he's all into that prissy, beautiful, elegant, rich girl.." Korra says as Alexis looks at her before at Ikki.

"And I'm not interested in Bolin. We're only friends Ikki." Alexis says as she smiles.

"But let's just pretend for a second I am interested in him. What would I do?" Korra asks as Alexis shakes her head.

"Ooh! I just read a historical saga where the heroine fell in love with the enemy general's son who's supposed to marry the princess. You should do what she did!" Jinora says happily.

"Tell me!" Korra says.

"She rode a dragon into battle and burned down the entirecountry. Then she jumped into a volcano. It was so romantic!" Jinora shouts.

"Uhh.." Korra says.

"No no no! The best way to win a boy's heart is to brew a love potion of rainbows and sunsets that makes true lovers sprout wings and fly into a magical castle in the sky! Where they get married and eat clouds with spoons and use stars as ice cubes in their moonlight punch. Forever and ever and ever!" Ikki shouts excitedly.

"Uh girls how about something a little less extravagant?" Alexis asks as the group hears laughing behind them and sees Pema.

"Oh hey Pema. Uh how long were you standing there?" Korra asks.

"Long enough. But trust me I know what you're going through. Years ago I was in the exact the same situation with Tenzin." Pema says.

"Daddy was in love with someone else before you?" Ikki asks in surprise.

"That's right." Pema says as she smiles.

"So what did you do?" Korra asks as Alexis nods in agreement.

"Well for the longest time I did nothing. I was so shy and scared of rejection but watching my soul mate spend his life with the wrong woman became too painful. So I hung my chin out there and I confessed my love to Tenzin. And the rest is history." Pema says.
