"You have no clue how challenging it is for me to meet you in this situation".
Marena anxiously pulled the window drapes to see outside, ignoring USA's constant speech, to see whether Laurent and the other staff showed up. In order to avoid being seen, she even knelt down and placed her pointer finger to her lips to indicate to USA to be silent. That kind of irritated USA. He turned to face her with his arms crossed.
"What is occurring? You made a lot of noise just now, so why are you behaving as if you're worried about being caught?"
Marena also questioned what USA was asking. She didn't understand why, after finding that USA, a person she had meant to contact previously, had entered her room rather than a thief, she was so terrified of being found out. She was incensed. Was she behaving as though she belonged to France and shouldn't have been allowed to visit a guy alone in her room?
"Yes, how I detest that Frenchman and his silly baguette".
Marena sighed and raised her head high in annoyance. USA scowled at her perplexed expression.
"You battle on the inside because you can't do it outside, right? You always appear to radiate life, don't you?"
"Mr USA". - Marena's eyes lighted up as she abruptly turned her head to the USA side as if she had just been aware of his presence. - "Although I was born and raised in the United States, I really originate from a parallel realm. I can't teleport back to my space at this time since the teleportation mechanism was destroyed. In addition, I don't know why, but France is detaining me right now for trespassing..."
As soon as Marena discussed her position, she felt foolish. She groaned and asked if she could provide proof that she was a citizen of the US, and would he be willing to rescue her from the predicament. USA didn't stop any of Marena's odd queries and only listened with a perplexed expression. That offered her a glimmer of optimism. When she saw him shrugging, though, that optimism was also destroyed.
"Why should I compromise my relationship with a powerful ally in Europe for you?"
USA chuckled as she said. Marena abruptly became aware of the significance of her request. All of a sudden, she felt ashamed of herself. She inhaled deeply to rebalance her feelings. She gave him a sincere glance as she talked in a conciliatory tone.
"I can't give you anything right now, but I'll make sure to pay you back as much as you need later when I finally figure out how to reach my people."
The manner she stated "find out the way to reach my people" and her confidence impressed USA. He immediately saw that she was not a commoner's daughter. At Marena's perplexed look, he smiled while covering his mouth with his hands. He made her wonder whether chatting to him for a while was really that important. She turned to face him while also glancing towards the window and the copper plate. What should be done right away? Continue babbling so that he could tease her or shout for help—or was the best way to utilize that tray to smash him once more to let off steam?
"You can't make me alter my mind, gorgeous woman, even if you are the president's kid. That whole repaying thing is not vital to me. You cannot buy my services, I assure you".
"Then get out of here as soon as you can, should your dear buddy learn that you broke into his property".
At some point, Marena ran out of patience. She turned to open the door as she went away, but USA quickly stopped her.
"Give me a break! I'm done doing business with you!"
"Take it easy; if you make too much noise, we'll be found, and I won't be able to assist you any longer". - USA said, placing a hand over Marena's lips. - "You have no idea what's in store for you, right? If you continue being with France..."
