(Y/N - Your Name)

It was that night at the club that set everything in motion.

You are standing at the bar alone as your friends just decided to fuck off and enjoy a bit on the dance floor.
Great!

The club lights are blinding and the music rings through your ears along with the chattering sounds from other people. Shutting it all out you turn around to order a drink and decide to go through their menu. They are quite expensive and you don't think you've even heard about more than half of the drinks mentioned here.

"Good evening! What can I get for you?" the bartender asks leaning over a bit with his voice barely audible over the chaos.

Maybe I should just get a beer? or maybe wine?

"Two Malibu Bay Breeze would be great!" you turn your heads towards the voice and notice a man. A very good-looking man!

"Well, how rude of me! I'm Krsna."  he holds his hand in front of you and for some reason you take it "Y/N" you say mesmerized by him a little.

"Nice to meet you Y/N. You don't come here often do you?"

Itna handsome kaise hai yaar ye!

"Hey Y/N?" he waves his hand in front of you breaking you out of the trance.

"Sorry, what did you just say?"

"I haven't seen you around much." he replies.

"Yeah I'm usually busy and clubs are just not my style !"

"Here you go !" the bartender cheers sliding two drinks in front of you and Krsna. You take a look at the drink it's yellowish orange with a wave of red at the top. It's served with ice cubes and topped off with a pineapple wedge. Looks great, but you're not going to drink something offered by a random stranger as it could be a trick.

"Don't worry it's just a drink you know. If you don't want it, you know, you can order something else." he replies possibly noticing you eyeing the drink for a bit in suspicion.

"No, it-it's fine"

Hopefully, it's fine

He says that he works at an office and is interested in music, especially Hip-hop. He says that he has written some rap songs. Just like that, a few hours go by as you talk about many other things related to your interest and daily life. After those few hours, you decide to head home with your friends as you're quite tired.

Back at home, you think about him as you clean up your room. He was very charming and different from a lot of people that you've met so far. He left a good impression on you and you wouldn't mind seeing him again.

After a few days have gone by, you return to your usual daily activities and the meeting with Krsna becomes nothing more than a pleasant memory in your mind.

But things don't stay normal for long. Just after a few days, you start to get the feeling of being watched. At first, you think that maybe you're just imagining things and decide to ignore them.
But the feeling doesn't go away and just like that you find yourself looking over your shoulder at times.
- While you're traveling from home to work or from work to home.
- During the lunch breaks.
- When you're out with your friends at a cafe or anywhere else.

The constant feeling of being watched never leaves. You check around a lot of times but don't see anyone. Your friends noticed this and questioned if everything was okay. You tell them about it, but they say that they haven't seen anyone staring or creeping around.

Perhaps I'm being paranoid.

The next day you bump into Krsna and have coffee with him at the cafe whilst waiting for your friends. He said that he was just hanging out with his friends and noticed you around the corner and decided to come and say hi.

For the first time ever since the club, you notice just how alluring he is. His fair skin illuminated by the light of the cafe gives him a radiant glow. His sharp features are accentuated by his dark hair and his well-defined square jaw with just the right amount of stubble. His dark-brown eyes felt gentle but weary. It looks like he hasn't been getting much sleep lately.

Kuch zyada hi kaam kar raha hai I guess!

You question him about that and he just brushes it off as working on his rapping skills and office work. You tell him that he should probably not overwork himself and it seems like he's kinda glad that you're concerned about him. At times you sense him staring but as soon as you look up you notice that he is looking at his phone.
Man, I think I'm actually being way too paranoid now. I guess kuch din ke liye kaam se break le lena chahiye.

Needless to say, you had a great time with him. His laughter filled your heart with warmth. For the first time in a few weeks, you didn't feel like you were being watched and felt safe in his presence. It was refreshing and you also exchanged your phone number! Maybe you should spend some time with him more often.

And you did get what you wished for, but not willingly. If anything you started to run into Krsna a lot, like a lot-lot out of nowhere. It was crazy! Your friends teased it as him being interested in you and while it was not a bad thing as you did like him a bit, this was just straight-up strange. And with that, the feeling of being watched was back again.

You were getting tired of that feeling and decided to appeal to your company to let you work from home for a few weeks. Thankfully they accepted it and for the last 4 days, you've been spending almost all of your time at home and have been avoiding calls from almost everyone outside of work. To your surprise Krsna has texted you too he's probably concerned, but you just don't want to deal with anything/anyone right now.

You had finished working early today so you decided to watch a movie and have some snacks and probably chill for a bit.

You check the entire house and lock all the doors and windows you can never be too safe. The whole being watched stuff has got you stressed way too much. You turn off the ceiling light but decide to leave your bedside lamps on just in case.

Everything was going great, but things always have a way of getting worse.

You must have dozed off after a few hours as all of a sudden you feel cold and a shiver runs down your spine.
Arrghh What the fuck! AC toh off kiya tha na!

Out of the corner of your eye, you think you saw a figure at the foot of the bed. When you open your eyes fully the room is dark and everything's quiet. The TV is turned off and so are the lamps. You notice a cool breeze blowing in from the balcony, the balcony door is open, but you remember closing it. You turn to look at the figure, but there's no one at the end of your bed. There's not much to see yet because it's still fairly dark.

As your heart pounds in your chest, you decide to turn one of the lamps. Slowly with measured movements you reach for it and turn it on. You don't see anyone in the semi-dark room. You get up and turn the ceiling light on and the room is instantly flooded with bright light, but just like before there's no one in the room.

Your body relaxes as you let out a long sigh of relief, but it's not over yet. You've to check the entire house now. You check the balcony first and find no one. Closing the door behind you reach for your closet and take out a cricket bat. Holding the bat tightly in the palm of your hand you go through the entire house checking all the doors and windows. They're all locked tight.

Coming back to your room, you check it again and close the balcony door, locking it this time. You keep the lights in the entire house. You don't know what to do.
Yaar am I going crazy!
