Pete felt like he couldn't breathe properly until they reached Olympus again after driving around for far too long to make sure they were no longer being followed. Porsche cussed the entire ride there while Chay mumbled aggressively about how he was missing the WIK concert he had apparently been waiting his whole life for. When they finally got out of the car, Pete braced himself for an explosion.

Surprisingly, Porsche went quiet once they were out of the car, letting his body continue the cursing for him. With his jaw clenched and his eyes shut, he flailed his long arms frustratingly in Kinn's general direction.

"You can't kidnap us. Our uncle will be worried. He'll call the police," Porchay declared, half-hiding behind his older brother.

"I won't say this again," Kinn murmured in a threatening tone that did nothing to calm their nerves. "I'm not kidnapping you. I'm rescuing you. You're welcome. Besides, the police are in my father's pocket, so they won't help you."

Porsche scoffed loudly as his jaw dropped.

Pete could tell they were getting nowhere fast. "Why don't we show you around a little?"

"And trap us inside? You've already brought us to a secondary location. Major red flag."

Pete sighed. He wasn't exactly there of his own volition either, so he definitely empathized with Porsche. Before Kinn could make the situation worse, Pete decided to try and use that.

Pulling the taller boy aside, Pete leaned in and whispered, "Look, to tell you the truth, I didn't volunteer to come here either, exactly."

Porsche side-eyed him but he was still listening so Pete continued. "This family is really scary, overall, but they have all treated me well so far. Technically I work for them, but the pay is really good and they are helping me with school and anything else I could want. I can't just tell you something to convince you to stay, but it might be a good way for you to protect your brother. Just think about it."

Pete knew he had struck a nerve when Porsche's face softened at the mention of his brother. Being around Vegas and seeing how he doted on Macau made it easy to see how important Porchay was to Porsche.

"No offense, Pete. You seem alright, but I can take care of my brother on my own."

Pete shrugged as Porsche moved to collect his little brother, but before they could walk away a black sedan pulled up. Out stepped Kim, still dressed as he had been at the concert.

"What the fuck was all that shit at my show?"

Porchay's eyes threatened to pop out of his head. His idol, the one plastered all over his bedroom walls and school locker, was standing right in front of him.

"WIK?!"

Kim glanced over at the boy, giving him a winning smile that made Pete want to tease him. He couldn't wait to gossip with Macau about it.

Sensing an opening, Kinn moved closer to the group, a new gentleness blanketing his face. "This is my younger brother, Kim. Kim, we rescued these two from kidnappers at your show because they're like us."

"Us?" Porchay squeaked, moving forward and shoving Porsche aside as he began to gush. "We have something in common? I'm Porchay, but you can call me Chay. That's my brother Porsche."

Kim glanced at the newcomers as Porsche squeezed between them, saying, "And we were just leaving."

Pete watched as Porsche grabbed Chay's hand and began to drag him away from the mansion with Chay digging in his heels the whole way with loud, whining protests erupting continuously from his mouth. Pete was tempted to laugh at the adorably ridiculous sight.
