"Why wont you tell me your name?" Todd asked Jude four days after the first day of school.
They sat in their lunch period, their table filled with laughter, chatter, and the clatter of plastic silverware against the old cafeteria trays and the shoveling of the questionable food into their mouths.
"Why do you absolutely need to know my name?" Jude asked him, flashing her pearly whites and flirting through her eyes.
"Because....because..." Todd replied, taking a bite of his pizza. The red sauce dripped below his lip, the cheese was pulled off the rest of the hot slice.
Jude laughed and pointed below her lip. Todd slurped up the rest of the hanging cheese and wiped the sauce off the rest of his mouth with the back of his hand.
Jude laughed more and her face light up. He dimples showing more and more as her smile widened, showing off her straight, white teeth.
"Aww! Dimples!" Their senior friend Jack exclaimed, making fun of Jude's dimples as usual.
Jude covered her mouth with her right hand, hiding her dimples from the public view, embarrassment showing on her face as her cheeks reddened a little bit.
"I like your dimples, I think their cute." Todd said, making Jude's face redden a tad more.
"I'm a little self conscious about them because no one else in my friend group, but Gully, has them, and he only has one. I have the WHOLE shabang." Jude replied, putting her hand down to take a big bite out of her red apple.
"Their unique, cute" Todd replied, smiling.
"Thank you" Jude replied, a smile played on her lips as her cheeks were now a bright red.
"So how bout that name?" Todd asked, fluttering his eyelashes.
"Yeah Jude, how bout that name?" Jacked asked, tking a bite into his salad
"Dang it Jack!" Jude yelled at him, smacking him with her notebook.
