I chewed on my nails nervously, waiting for Luke to pick up. I was about to end the call when he finally responded causing me to sigh in relief. ''Hello?''

''Hey, Luke.'' I smiled as i spoke, sitting down on the edge of my bed.

''Who's this?'' I frowned slightly. We text all the time and he hasn't saved my number? What the- ''Just kidding, Laulau. What's up?'' i huffed, rolling my eyes with a small smile playing on my lips at his nickname for me.

I heard shuffling in the background which is probably Luke trying to find clothes for the party. Let me tell you, he never miss any party. ''I was catching up on my homework when Luis texted me..'' I began.

It was quiet on the other line for a while before Luke spoke lowly. ''I'm listening.''

''And he invited me to Riley's party.'' I said, waiting for his reaction. When he stayed silent, i nervously ran my fingers through my hair. I have no idea why i was nervous. There was no reason for me to be nervous at all. Luis is my friend, Luke is my best friend. Best friend my ass! My inner thoughts laughed at me and i glared at - well, at nothing, really. ''Luke..?''

''Please don't tell me you're actually thinking about going.'' He literally begged and i furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. What was wrong with me going to a party? ''This is not the type of a party when you play truth or dare while drinking tea or soda, Lauren. This is not the type of a place you would like to be at.'' I rolled my eyes, puffing out my cheeks. Of course i knew they don't drink tea there, i wasn't stupid. But i'm not stupid to drink what they drink as well.

''I'm not stupid, Luke. I can take care of myself and i know what and what no to do.'' I took an anxious breath, standing up and walking towards the mirror to look at myself. I already had my outfit on.

''So, you're going?'' He sighed and i nodded but then realized he can't see me so i mumbled a quiet ''Yes''.

''Why are you calling me then?'' I could imagine the way he was raising his eyebrows right now as he asked me the question.

''I was wondering if you can give me a ride..'' I spoke softly, trying to my best to sound sweet which caused him to chuckle.

''Yes, i can, Lauren.'' I smiled widely.
