(Too My First Follower CookyMintie! Thx for reading. And sorry my chapters are random and are far apart)

"HUMAN! Where are you? Your scent is stronger. Really strong. Are you close?" that horrible voice mocked with an ethereal cackle.
Alina was shaking like the temperature had suddenly dropped to zero, her legs felt abnormally weak. She knows that voice. When she first heard it, its tone and texture had been implanted deep into her skull. She thought she could feel her blood pumping outside of her skin. Her mind narrowed into one crucial thought; she had to get out of there. She needed to leave. Her legs pushed her to a run, arms grabbing Argus in the proses. She ran. Fast. Faster than she thought she could. Unsure of where she was going. She just ran like prey.
"WHERE ARE YOU GOING, ALINA?!" cried Argus. "RUNNING WON'T HELP., THE WOLF IS FASTER THAN YOU REMEMBER?!
Alina hesitated but quickly started back up again. "LEOPLOD!" she exclaimed, "Argus, get Leoplond on the walky-talky,"
"OH, YEAH!" yelled Argus, as it started digging around in Alina's backpack, retrieving the walky-talky, "LEOPLOD!!!! We are about to be dead by The Wolf, so if you don't come to save us, WE'LL BE DEAD!."
"How cute!  Are you calling sweet daddy? He won't be coming anytime soon I'm afraid," the beast scoffed. Suddenly, the monstrous shadow leared upon them. It was standing on its two back paws, there it was the towering wolf right in front of her, the pitch-black eyes which stared into her soul, and that grin across its face. He leaned in closer, right up to Alina's face, nose to nose, eye to coal-black eye. "Are you worried about that TV, sweetheart?"  his grin grew, extending into an arsenal of pearly razors, "Haha! You look very familiar. Have we met before?"
Alina stammered away in fear, then answered The Wolf, "You *gulp* chased me. Wh-when I first entered th-this house, you came after me."
"Obviously, stupid rat,"  The Wolf retorted. He extended his hand toward Alina's face and cradled her pale, bandaid-patched cheek between gnarled claws, "Ya know, I've been having so much fun, I don't want this little dynamic of ours to end. Not yet anyway. My Little Panda, you remind me of how thrilling it can be to have slimy, slippery, hopeless prey get away. To have a proper hunt." The Wolf squeezed tighter, digging under her skin until her cheek leaked blood. "But like all great things, this will come to an end. Don't you agree?"
Suddenly, reflexively, she stomped The Wolf's kneecap, leading him to fall, howling in pain, "YOU FILTHY LITTLE-" Alina slammed her foot on his nose, producing an audible crack. Spirited away before he could say any more.
"ALINA, LEOPLOD IS NOT TALKING BACK!" worried Argus, "Is Leoplod alright, Alina?"
"I-I-I'm sure he's alright. He's..., he's... Everything is gonna be okay." Alina reassured, uncertain as to whether or not she was lying. She ran as fast as she could. Flying all through the house. Passing through hallways, bedrooms, indoor gardens, and bathrooms without a thought. Doors slammed open and closed. Trying to put distance between her and the filthy, vile abomination. Finally, she stopped an open vent big enough for her and Argus. She opened it a little bigger to get in then she threw Argus in it, and closed it behind her.
"Alina, what are you doing?" Asked Argus.
"Shhhhh! Be quiet, We don't want him to hear us."  hissed Alina. She clamped her hands over her mouth and where Argus should have a mouth.
"You can hide, but once I find you, we'll have some fun." said The Wolf.
The creaking grew closer, then farther until they heard nothing, Alina opened the vent to check, and she saw nothing up and down the hall.
"Come on I think it's clear," said Alina, she crawled out of the vent and then helped Argus out too.
"Alina, do you think The Wolf was telling the *hic* truth, about Leoplod?" whimpered Argus, hugging Alina's leg.
"I told you already, Leoplod is fine." said Alina, unsure of her answer, "Come on we should get out of here before he comes back, here get on my back we'll travel quicker that way."  Alina squatted down, so Argus got on and they started again, down the halls, lost to where they were. Alina being very quiet, cracked open doors looking for something familiar, but it all looked the same, yet completely different.
Argus was now somehow curled up in her backpack and cried itself to sleep, hoping that Leoplod was safe and sound.
Alina also hoping the same thing was too preoccupied with getting back to the little shop and seeing for herself if he was safe, as she thought this she heard a scream coming from the end of the hallway frozen knowing it was The Wolf, she held her breath and stood still not knowing what to do, she felt her legs start moving on there own, she was moving towards the wall, pining herself agest it.
"Little Panda where are you? That wasn't very ladylike of you earlier. I know your close." said that dreadful voice down from the hall.
Alina pulled out her knife ready for a fight, but the fight never came. The hallway went quiet, not even the sound of footsteps could be heard. All Alina could hear was the sound of her heartbeat.
'Creak, creak' there the floorboards were creaking, but by what?
She awoke Argus just in case The Wolf found them and caught her so at least Argus could get away.
"Argus wake up, this is no time to sleep, and be quiet," whispered Alina, as she pulled the little monster out of her backpack, still rubbing its many eyes.
'Creak, creak' The creak grew louder and so did Alina's fear that it was The Wolf, then there was a terrible howl from where the creaking was, Alina took this moment and grabbed Argus, and started running in the other direction.
The Wolf howled, "Why you son of-" He was interrupted by a different voice, one that sounded playful and sarcastic, "Watch your, tough mister, did you kiss your mother with that mouth, how shameful"
Still, sleepy Argus mumbled, "Xanny?" but then he laid its head down on Alina's shoulder, releasing that it didn't care.
As Alina was racing down the hall she felt this gust of wind go right past her.
