"Niall, I don't care if you know some people who can get me a job like that. I'm not interested," I say, rolling my eyes as I toss a bag of crisps into the cart.

He groans, "Well why not? My buddy did it, got rich and they even ended up actually falling in love and marrying. Maybe you could finally find that for yourself as well."

I laugh a bit, "Listen, if I haven't found it yet, I doubt I ever will. Plus, I'm not looking right now."

I begin pushing the cart down the isle, but Niall puts his hands on the end of it so that I come to an abrupt stop.

"Niall, come on, I'll hit you in the shins with it. Get off."

"I say you at least give them a call. I'll give you the number in the car."

I sigh, "Fine, for you Niall. Wait- how do you even have the number?"

He smirks, moving away from the cart. "I'm a friend of some cool people, didn't you know?"

I stare at him dumbfounded as he winks and begins walking away.

I push the cart fast enough that it hits the backside of Niall and he yelps, holding the small of his back as he turns around to glare at me. "What'd you do that for?"

I laugh, "Why not?"

"Touché, but uncool, mate."

I sigh, pushing the cart again, "Come on, we've still got to grab the chicken."

Both arms drop to his side and he makes a strange face, scrunching up his nose.

"What?" I ask, walking beside him as we making our way to the freezer sections.

"Are we having that stupid chicken with mozzarella and mash or whatever?"

I nod, "Yes, Niall, it's the only thing I know how to cook, so, give me a break here. Plus, I wouldn't expect you to be one to complain about food."

He eventually complies, mumbling in agreement and we check out, paying for the groceries and carrying the bags back to my car.

"Louis, I'm tired, can we hurry up?"

"For God's sake, Niall, all you have to do is put the bag- give it to me."

He hands the bag over, skipping to the front passenger seat, opening the door and climbing in with a smirk on his face.

"That cheeky devil, who does he think he is," I mumble, placing the bags in the trunk before closing it and walking to the driver side door.

I pull on the handle, glaring at Niall when it doesn't open. "Unlock the door!" I yell, hearing his muffled cackles through the glass.

"My keys," I say, remembering as I dig through my pockets, but frown as I find them empty.

I look back at Niall, who's holding them up, dangling them like some toy.

"Unlock it!" I yell out again, and he only shakes his head, still laughing.

"Niall do it or I'll force you to take that job!"

I smirk as he stops laughing and I hear the click of the door unlocking.

I fling the door open, getting inside of the car and grabbing the keys from Niall's hand.

"Do that again and I'll stab you with them," I warn, holding the keys up before I put them in the ignition and turn them to start the car up.

"First of all, you wouldn't dare, and second, I've got the number so grab out your phone."

I groan, grabbing my phone and unlocking it. "Cannot believe I'm listening to you- and oh, so you know, I definitely would dare."

He laughs, typing something on his phone before showing me the contact he pulled up.

I type the number into my phone, "What do I call the contact?"

"Just put 'Potential Work' or something."

I nod, naming it and saving the contact. "What do I do now?"

He scoffs, looking over at me, "Oh I don't know, maybe you call them? Just a guess though, so."

"Oh shut up," I exclaim, slapping his shoulder playfully, and he breaks into laughter again.

"No seriously, I'm going to call them, so shut up."

He covers his mouth and gives a thumbs up, and I glare at him as I press the call button.

"Put it on speaker," he whispers, moving his hand.

I wave him off but do so nonetheless, someone answering on the fifth ring.

"Hello? Who's this? How can I help you?"

I clear my throat, "Uhm, yes, hi. I heard that this number was offering a certain job, or something of some sort?"

"Oh, yes, yeah. You're interested?"

"Uhm, yes sir."

"Great. Can I have your name?"

"Louis. Louis Tomlinson."

"Okay, great Louis. When are you free for an interviewing and meeting to make arrangements?"

"Anytime you can have me."

"Excellent. How's Friday at noon sound to you? You'll meet us in the Style Corporations, Floor 7, Room 28. Sound good?"

"That's perfect, sir."

"Please, do call me Simon. Everyone else does."

"Right, of course. Thank you, Simon."

"Thank you as well, don't show up late. If you forget what room, just remember Style Corporations, alright?"

"Yes sir."

He hangs up, and Niall immediately throws himself into a fit of excitement.

"What are you going on about?" I ask, my face full of genuine concern for him.

"Oh nothing- except that my best friend may get a job as a celebrity's fake boyfriend."

"Yeah, isn't it exciting?" I ask sarcastically, pulling the car out of the parking spot and down out of the car lot.

"Well, if you're not excited, me and Liam will be excited for you."

"How reassuring," I muse, turning up the radio as "Dusk Till Dawn" by ZAYN begins playing.
