hi, i am thefanciestmoth

Okay, okay, I know there are a ton of Zoro fics out there but I really wanted to try and write my own.

I think this one is unique for a couple reasons:

1. I am testing out "non-linear" story telling. so, the story doesn't go in an "a, b, then c" type of order, it's a bit more loopy "a, b, back to a, c, back to b." Again, I'm testing it out and it could turn out to be a major fail. If at any point you're lost, just lmk! I'll try to clear it up.

2. Neso is my OC. She's basic. Silver hair. Scars. You know, the whole fantasy vibe. Sorry, it is a character trope that I am currently glued to. That being said, she is imperfect. She feels ALOT and doesn't always process or react correctly. I hope she comes across as realistic as possible for a One Piece/fantasy based story though.

Also, this is rated mature for a reason. There is some uncomfortable content.

But why, fancy moth, why?

I occasionally write sensitive subjects into my stories. Writing is is a way I work through certain traumas and emotions of my own. When I write something particularly harsh, whether it be violence, sex, drugs, et cetera, it comes from a place of experience.

I don't shy away from tough topics because this is real life happening in real time. I want to create a space where these conversations can be had and dealt with in a healthy manner. Hell only knows that I have had my fair share of dealing with trauma in a not-so-healthy way in the past.

I am (obviously) not a licensed therapist. I am not a doctor. I have little more than a half completed bachelors degree. But, I have been through a lot. I encourage you all to get help if you are in need. Drink some water. Touch some grass. Adopt a plant. Talk to someone. You are welcome to message me. Sometimes it is helpful to just get something off your chest. I won't give advice if you don't want it, but I will listen.

I feel it is my duty to provide access to help since I am opening the door to certain triggers and emotions. I am located in the U.S. so these numbers are U.S. based.
